This bra, like many Playtex, is designed for "average" body height and average vertical breast distribution. Out of the box, I tightened the partially adjustable straps as much as possible just to keep the straps from slipping off. The cushioned straps are comfortable, but tall and/or petite/high set/short-waisted users will need to modify these straps.
The band is delightful and provides substantial support with its wide dimension and 3x4 fasteners. I sincerely appreciate this design element. The elastic does not bite and the fabrics are acceptably supple. These are not Comexim-quality bands, but this is a $15 bra.
Admirably, the bra's reinforced outer cup helps keep my center-full, close-set ...tissue in the front. However, the shallow cup design propels my tissue up and out of the cup. Again, this bra is designed for "average" projection and "average" horizontal distribution. Nonetheless, it is supportive, and my breasts are held close to my chest. The design is reminiscent of a sports bra. For the right breasts, this is a wonderful bra.
Sadly, this cup is too tall and cuts into my shoulder; irritating my lymph nodes. Admittedly, I am too short-waisted for this design. Sigh.
If you have "average" breast characteristics, don't hesitate to try this supportive, wireless option. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
If you have soft, center full, close-set breasts, this bra may move your tissue quickly to the east and west where it will collide with a seam. Looking at the pictures, you may be able to see the shallowness near the gore. So, this bra likely works better for center-shallow and/or wide set breasts. Additionally, more firm breasts may be able to create space near the gore by simply pushing the gore further from the body. My melted marshmallow breasts immediately move to the sides; not their preferred location.
The band is supportive and boasts 3x4 fasteners. Straps are partially adjustable, cushioned, and too long for petite users. I have them shortened 100% and need 1/2" less length. These straps are also inadequate for tall/low-set users. Average height and vertical distribution is ideal.
I considered a smaller size, but the shallow center design combined with my soft breasts is not a winning combination.
Otherwise, the fabrics are soft, supportive, and comfortable.
This is a highly comfortable bra. It is average in projection and the apex is mid-cup. Now that I have enough space in the bottom of the cup, the top of the cup is less full. Comfortable bra, but not a good fit for me.
The only pink I usually like is a deep fuchsia. However, this pale pink with ivory lace overlay beckoned me. This is another comfortable bra. It is best suited for shallow breasts. If you need immediate projection, try Playtex 27. I really wanted to keep this, but the cup collapsed instantly and it would require significant band shortening.
The band is half the width of Playtex 27. If you prefer a less significant band, E515 is a better choice.
The straps are more padded in E515 than Playtex 27. Additionally, the straps are not fully adjustable.
This band runs several inches longer than Playtex 27. Size up in 27 and down in E515.
Well, it's obviously too small. It doesn't have tags, so I'm going off what I think I remember the saleslady telling me the size was. I'd gotten sized in Australia as a 14E I think, and went back to the States and was bra shopping and this girl told me there was no way I was an E and put me in a D. And they were some of the most comfy bras I'd worn to date, so I bought three. Two of those died within the first three months of me having them. I don't know how this one has lasted so long, but it's become my ...sleeping bra, because the quadboob is way too noticeable to wear it in public but it's super comfy nonetheless. And it keeps my boobs out of my armpits when I sleep, so that's good. It doesn't seem to have stretched too much. I'm still wearing it on the outermost hook and it stays in place through my restless nights. I can't attest to much more though, since it's so very, VERY not my proper size. Read more 76 more words
Even though the band is way too big, I love this bra. The jersey material is soft and comfy, and the cups hold the girls perfectly. But the too-big band renders this bra completely unsupportive, and I cannot adjust the straps tight enough to compensate.
I don't wear this bra anymore, mainly due to the underwire poking through the gore and trying to stab me in the heart, *sigh*.
This bra doesn't fit me at all, I bought it secondhand while looking for something to get by. The bad is much too big and the cups small. it's very blah looking, white cotton with a white lace overlay, with thick straps. The wires won't go up all the way into the gore so it folds down and won't tack. However, all the said, it is comfy! If I wanted a sleep bra, this would probably be it. The cotton is nice and soft and great when I'm sweaty, and the straps are very comfortable and squishy, though not very adjustable.
