I bought this bra at a boutique. I wanted something lacy that would be comfortable for regular wear. I'm starting my bra collection over in a new size. I tried on the Imogen Rose along with a few Curvy Kate, Panache, and Freya styles. This one had the loosest band; the Panache styles had the tightest. The bra fits in the cup. It's not my favorite, but it was $20 less than some of the others I tried on, so I got it. The bra is a little torpedo-ish for me and because the band is big, I'm wearing it on the 2nd hook to make sure it ... stays in place. The gore floats a little at the top because of my close-set breasts.
I did have to make a very minor adjustment to it - the side boning is cheap, overly flexible plastic that bent too much instead of staying flat. The sales person said that this was an issue with some Pour Moi styles and that they usually suggest taking the side boning out. The boutique had an on-site seamstress who handled bra repairs and alterations, so they took out my boning and didn't charge for the extra service.
Here are my thoughts after wearing it a couple of days: The band is definitely too big because it rides up in the back, even on the second hook. The shape is not the most flattering. I feel like it makes my breasts pointy, but also makes them slope downward. I really prefer rounded shapes. This is the only bra where I've noticed my nipples come far above the mid-seam of the bra. It looks a little weird to me. That said, the embroidery is pretty on the bra and it is lacy/sexy.
For me, it's very meh. I can wear it on a tighter hook, but it's really not a bra I love. I might consider taking in the band a tiny bit so I can get longer wear out of it.
