- BAND: too tight. better for 30 band size
- CUP: Whether the cup is too wide, the wire is too long, or the shoulder strap is too far away, my armpit is very painful. it is closed and shallow cup. The size was right when I just wore it (the armpit was still painful). After scoop and swoop, it makes quad boobs and wrinkles under the cup.The sides of the cup are so wide that it feels like it's left over. Totally not for my breast shape.
- DESIGN: As the name shows, it is non-padded. It looked pretty in the picture, but when I received it myself, the shape of the cup was different from what I thought. it was a little disappointing.
I am in love with this colorway and so sad that it is a little bit too small. (In fact, I kept it when I was substantially bigger in the cup, and it was a much poorer fit on me, just because of how much I love the look of this bra. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> )
Band is snug for a 32, and firm. Cups are SHALLOW, so you may want to size up in the cup, or cry and relent if you're like me and need more projection than this bra was built to offer.
Bought this for days when I can't tolerate wearing a more snug fitting bra but still want to wear something cute. Accordingly, I sized up in the band (the only reason why this is a "didn't fit"). Other than having to cut the tags out, I would say this fits the bill. Definitely recommend to bra wearers with sensory issues involving clothes.
Despite knowing this doesn't come in my size, I wanted to try it out anyway as lots of people (myself included) find Pour Moi bands to run on the firmer side - oh boy was I disappointed. The bra itself is lovely - the fabrics are soft, the construction is decent considering the very affordable price point, and it does what it says on the tin being a lounge bra. Cup capacity feels great, however the back band... is huge. Being a 28 back I wasn't expecting the 32 to be firm, but due to how much squish I carry around my ribcage I can generally get away ...with wearing a 32 back band without it riding up much, if it at all, when fastened on the tightest hooks. I couldn't even wear it as a sleep bra because it moves around too much on my torso. I would confidently say that this runs at least a back band bigger. If you're in their size range and looking for a comfortable, easy to wear lounge option that's also quite cute, then I'd recommend it (as long as you sister size down of course), but if you're a smaller back I wouldn't bother trying. ~70J/32G ~65K/30GG, projected, bottom and center full, tall roots, avarage root width, soft tissue ----- Very beautifull, I love the red on black, it's quite lightweight but way too wide, and incredibly scratchy. Never had a bra this scratchy.
PourMoi can be very 'hit or miss' with their materials, sadly. Often in this size range (I'm similar at 32G/30GG or H) they're also quite wide and shallow - not unlike Gossard.
Such a shame when a pretty bra doesn't match in fit / overall construction!
This is such a sexy bra that I can't bear to part with it even though I bought it in the wrong size due to a problematic reference bra - a bra misadventure I've written about. I'm hoping that with a little underwire alteration for my narrower, shallow roots, the half cup will be forgiving and I won't have massive spillage.
----- UPDATE: I've narrowed the underwires and this really is a very forgiving style. I'm fuller on top so thankfully even my areolas are still hidden in the smaller cups. I also noticed there is a bit of asymmetry with where the gore and underwires are joined, which makes the appearance and fit a little strange. I've also sewn the inner corners of the wire channels together to narrow the gore.
This is a beautiful bra. The lace detailing is pretty. The lace doesn't go all the way around the band but stops just beyond the cups on the sides. The band is very wide. The straps are stretchy and comfortable. The size on me is accurate but the cups are a bit tall and I get some rubbing in my armpit. This probably would have been solved by sizing down in the cups but that would have created other problems, particularly with needing lots of projection. The band is also much tighter than on my other bras but it seems to be loosening with wear. Overall, a pretty bra. On me, right now, somewhat uncomfortable thanks to the tall cup rubbing and the tight band.
My usual unpadded size is 32G, but I went down a cup size for the St Tropez after reading several reviews saying it ran big in the cup. This was not a wise choice, I ended up quadding something awful after the bra settled. It's a shame since the bra was a decent fit for me (v projected and full all over) in every other aspect, although a word of warming that the wires are particularly stretchy and weren't as narrow while being worn as the measurements would argue. The upper mesh is technically stretch lace but because of the embrodiery it isn't overly forgiving. I found the band to be TTS and the materials of decent quality, specifically that the usual squeakiness that I've found in every other Pour Moi bra is absent in this model!
Fit-wise, this bra is OK: the band is a little on the tight side, but probably nothing a couple of washes wouldn't fix. The wires are pretty wide but comfortable, and the shape is not bad. I'm not 100% sure about the cup, as there's no real spillage but I feel I need a little more. Perhaps I just need more elasticity than this embroidered lace has. What I really don't like is how obvious this bra is under clothes because of such thick and patterned material. The edge even flares out a little. So, this bra seems very close to fitting - on paper. But I realize I don't like it enough to bother trying for the perfect fit. I'm attracted to the many unusual colour combinations but then I find them too loud. So... if in the end neutrals are more my thing, why go for all that unnecessary, uncomfortable lace? If I want plain... so be it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
Bought the Almond colour to replace the Mink 32FF - Pour Moi ยป Geometric Underwired Bra (5702) which I returned. This one fits just like it, but is a much better colour. I also narrowed the gore to a width of about 1.5 centimetres and it's perfect now.
This bra is beautiful and supportive, even though it is unlined mesh. But it is simply too small and wide in the cup for me. Would be best for someone with wide roots who is full on bottom.
Very comfortable and fits surprisingly well for a full cup bra; most others cut into my boobs on top. It feels nice to be covered up and leave the, in comparison, skimpy bras every once in a while.
The lace is rather smooth so I expect it wouldn't show much under clothes. The pattern is discreet but pretty. The band has gathers at the gore and wings which improves the overall look of the bra. The colour - Mink - is nice but isn't great as an invisible colour on my pale skin. It might be okay on darker or more olive-hued women.
The cups are a decent width, but ...still a hair too wide for my very narrow boobs. The gore doesn't tack entirely but I think it would be fine if I altered it. The band is quite tight for a 32 and I can wear it on the loosest hooks even if it feels better on the middle ones.
I'll probably send this back/sell it on, but I'll re-purchase if I find a good deal on the same in the Almond colourway. Read more 75 more words
Both the top of the cup and the part where the fabric changes cut into the breast tissue. I was able to fasten the band but felt like it could break at any moment, as it was extremely tight. The underwire digs into my sternum and into my chest under my breasts which is very painful.
The bra itself is very pretty but probably more suited for someone with low nipples as the lower darker part of the cup did not cover mine.
