At first I was put off by the fact that it allows the breasts to sit very wide, which is visually striking in relation to the nipped in torso. When wearing just the bra, the lace cups felt scratchy against my arms (although no scratchiness in the boob area) and I was disposed to send it back. However, trying on a T-shirt changed my mind. Not only does it give a super cute, neat and uplifted yet rounded shape and make me look like Halle Berry (ok, almost), eliminating the scratchiness by putting on clothes allowed me to realize this felt AMAZING. Not amazing as in, I feel like I'm not wearing anything. Amazing as in, I am getting a perpetual back massage and shoulder rub, and my boobs are floating as if gravity were a thing of the past.

About this Bra
A wireless, lace, true longline. Often used in TV/film set in the 1960s for a retro pointy look.

Purchasing:
* Paid $40 on Amazon with free Prime shipping & returns (not Amazon Wardrobe)
* Available in black, white, and brown only.
* Followed advice from other reviews to size up in the band and down in the cup.

Band:
* Stretch lace under cups and between wing boning and hooks. Non-stretch lace between cup and wing boning.
* Extra wide elastic at bottom of the band (1 7/8", 4.8 cm).
* Elastic at top of band (usual width).
* A true longline (will provide waist shaping).
* Wing support: boning (total of ... 4 pieces: at outside edge of each cup and each wing)
* Continuous band - band straight under wires.
* Back close with 3 columns of hooks.

Straps:
** smooth satin, do NOT stretch
* soft (don't stand up on their own)
** front adjust
* partial adjust (fixed portion is in the back)
* leotard back (yes, a leotard back on a longline)
* CENTER PULL

Cups:
* 2-seam (3-piece) full cups
** no underwire, but looks like it does because has an empty channel
* Boning extends where the outside of wire would sit.
* All pieces constructed of non-stretch lace and lined with two layers of a non-stretch, semi-opaque mesh.
* Between the two layers of mesh is a thin, smooth layer of fiber-fill (like the stuffing in stuffed animals).
* Soft cups. (Fiber fill provides modesty only, no shaping.)
* Inner, top edge of cup has firm seaming. Outer, top edge of cup is elastic (that continues to top of band).

Fit

About me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts
* average projection
* wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts)
* very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line)
* even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full)
* short root height, average vertical placement
* mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away)
* conical shape (but will squish to round)
* full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue
* petite (5'3") so have narrow frame
* front (anterior) rib flares

Band:
* Tricky: Couldn't clip behind my back. Could clip in front, but then couldn't turn around. Was able to hook (off my body) and pull over my head -- with some difficulty (I think I pulled a muscle).
* Once on: Stays in place with wear BUT top of band too loose to provide any support.
* wings too short, boobs escape
* smooths rib flares
* attractive and comfortable waist shaping

Gore: Floats, but wireless, so not a problem. Height & width fine.

Straps:
* not too far apart
* don't adjust short enough
* don't bother my tail of Spence

Cups:
* Edge of cup boning (not a curved wire but boning straight down to band) sits on axillary breast. Breast pushes boning away from body (not strong enough).
* Too shallow, quad boob.
* Enough projection at wire.
* Too small to provide much shaping.

Assessment & Plan:
* Crazy sexy, but poor fit for everyday wear. (For bedroom-only wear, the 34D was a more attractive "fit.")
* Makes my rib flare and waist look awesome. Does nothing for my breasts (in this size).
* Cup fit would be better for FOT and/or very projected boobs.
* Agree with online advice to size up in band and down in cup.

* Cups too narrow. Try 34DD.
* Looks sexy. Husband loves it too. Not an everyday bra. Would work as a bedroom bra (where fit is far less important than looks).
* Online advice to size up in band and down in cup was correct. Two sizes each might be even better.
