This is a sportstop-style bra, which in theory could be used as sportswear as-is. Well, I wouldn't dare, they'd kick me out of the gym for indecency. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> Well, the bra is very comfortable and sturdy in a general way, which means it's absolutely spot-on for low impact sports like oriental dancing, canoeing, trekking and cross-country skiing, but out of (painful) experience I certainly wouldn't recommend it for martial arts or running if you're above G-cup. I know, since I've had one of these throughout my bra history, from F cup upwards. Overall sizing is pretty standard, the H cup encloses my ...breasts very snugly, the bouncing problem comes from the fact that the material itself - comfy and airy as it is - is simply not sturdy enough for breast mass in H-cup. The band is on the snug side, I have it in the first hook and it's tight, on the other hand it _will_ stretch with wear, trust me. Personally I don't like the velcro strip as it often comes loose as it's too short when you have the bra in the first hook. It also makes washing difficult and may scratch your shirt or skin. Oh my God, the band is so tight! There's good, easy stretch, but it just flat out refuses to go anything beyond 80cm. Seeing that at the deepest inhale my ribcage expands to 90, that is a problem. It's weird considering other 32 bands fit me just fine, some of them are even too loose. I'm glad I got this bra for a good price off ebay, so I will be keeping it - I got an extender, so I can wear it, because otherwise I like it a lot. And I can easily switch from day to sleep using the extender (I bought the bra as a ...sleeping/lounging bra. Obviously I can sleep with a band that would otherwise ride up if I weren't in bed)
Otherwise, the cups are a good fit. It would be perfect if the straps were more far apart for my wide shoulders, but it can also be an issue of the small band. The cups may seem wide, but are sewn to point straight ahead, so it may be a thing with wireless bras in general. A word of caution - I ussually wear my straps tightened to somewhere in the middle, here I'm comfortable tightening them all the way. This may be a problem for some.
The fabric is very comfortable - soft and breathable - and the style provides good, gentle support. I was particularly impressed by the silky fabric on the back of the closure. The bra looks really pretty- nothing too showy, but really nothing like a grandma bra. It covers quite a lot, but despite that manages to look feminine. It gives me a nice, rounded shape under clothes. Read more 171 more words
I bought this nursing bra about a month post-baby. Now 10 months post-baby it is definitely too large. I'm not sure if it ever fit entirely correctly but I was desperate when I bought it and it has been passable. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> On me the cup is definitely too big at the bottom, sides, AND top. Oy vey! I can't really comment on how well this bra would work on somebody who it actually fit. I do think it might work well on a more full-on-top shape, but I'm not positive.
