This was the first bra I bought as a true size bra. I was pretty happy to find that all the harassment in high school were people said I couldn't be a 36C because they were barely 34Bs was all water under the bridge as I found myself in a 30H that was too small (in the cups).. I know its immature, but those girls were awful!
Anyway. I found this bra and it was pretty good. I loved the look (finally I could look sexy in a bra... in high school I wore a sports bra over an underwire - one to keep them up, and one ...to keep them down - and half my bras had to be tied together or sewn up because they broke from the weight of my boobs). The lace is absolutely gorgeous. The only problem with it is just that - its lace - so there is no support from it. They structured it so that it hold a bit better than just putting a single piece of lace across the cup, and they added a bit of elastic at top of the cup, but ultimately the support was lacking. The underwires are solid. Almost two years and still there perfectly w/o looking anywhere near ripping through the fabric (which was usually what made me switch bras previously, the loss of underwires from weight of boobs). The lace of the cups are torn to shreds however. It is double layered in areas so that helps, but I guess i kept tearing it when I couldn't fit the cups. I think maybe it was in part fluctuations through the month from hormones, maybe a little from weight change, but ultimately i do think that going up a cup size from usually may be beneficial. The opposite goes for the band. It tore a little, and it was sooo tight day one (but I was used to 34/36 bands and now a 30 woah change), but I put in an extender until it worked itself out (a little I think was washing) and now I have it on the 3rd hook and its loose, BUT I have too because any tighter and it cuts in a bit because the lack of support from the cups (its a whole system that has to work together, I believe the band is appropriate and going up to the 32 would be a bad idea, because if I had the right cup, then the 32 would creep up, the same way it creeps up when I have the expander on). so I would not advise sizing up on the band. The straps are a pain for me personally, they are hard to adjust (as are any but these are thick and have lace on the sides making it hard to slide once the bra is on) but they are sturdy and cute. They alone could hold you up if it wasn't for the stretch of the lace and band.
I still wear the bra on and off today (I am in the process of finding a new bra, I don't want to choose the wrong size again) and I like it a lot. I am sorry its in such disarray. I find buying a bra such a hassle because I have to do it online (or pay money I don't have for it) but if I knew the size that would fit without causing issues, i would buy this bra again in a heartbeat. I would suggest to anyone that would like it (because it is really a gorgeous bra) to try buying two sizes from somewhere you can return to (the place I bought from is out of business sadly). I feel the bra makes my boobs look good in just the bra and under shirts (although careful out in the cold because the lace is a little sheer as my husband likes to point out). It is a natural look (not a big lift but it doesn't leave you low). I really like having this bra for a regular day and I will definitely buy one again and maybe see about alterations and being a little more gentle (not cleaning in automatic washer&dryer) if I find one at a good price again. One of my favourite bras. Doesn't dig in which I hate the most when it comes to the cups. Band is ok when fastened on middle hooks. Great shape, gives good support. Very comfortable. Perfect for smaller boobs https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This is a gorgeous bra with some pretty, ultra feminine detailing (thank you mandapandarawks for sending it to me!). There are blue ribbons that hang down beyond the bottom of the gore, the cups ares sheer with lots of embroidery - flowers in the lace, circles in the bottom of the cup, and blue stripes. It sounds busy, but somehow it all works in such a lovely way. The band is comfortable for a 30 (I'm stuck between 30's and 32's). It fits like a balconette and the cups are deep with plenty of projection at the wire. I find the wires softer than any I've tried. Unfortunately the cup is too small for me, otherwise I would hang onto this one!
My shape: full on bottom, soft tissue, narrow shoulders/roots. Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this bra (and many others!) to try on! Appearance: Really pretty ivory and blue embroidered cups. Ribbons at the gore instead of the charms and bows that are typical. Fit: Splayed, too wide in cups and straps, not enough support. (I had a longer review written but internet crapped out right as I hit submit! Super lame.)
Elise 30GG I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Elise is an underwire unpadded plunge bra. It is a pale yellow/cream color with light turquoise embroidery on the cups –It has lines and circles on the bottom and flowers on the top and at the center gore.
The band measures 23.5” to a max of 34” and had 3 hooks and 3 rows of eyes.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 11.5”
2 Placing ...the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. This measurement is: 14.25”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.
So pretty! I wish it fit but the cups are too small for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Seems to be a delicate material since it is made of doubled transparent mesh layers It is very soft feeling and in the correct size maybe even comfortable enough to sleep in! Returning for a possible exchange for size up in the cups if they have it available
This bra is beautiful and adorable. It doesn't seem to be industrial strength material, but it isn't cheap either, just average. I'd say the material is pretty soft for mesh, which is almost never as comfortable as padding. The underwires are actually close enough for my close boobs. The gore is somewhat high but it isn't uncomfortable. I am nursing right now so my size fluctuates a little; when I'm a little full this bra fits perfectly, aside from the band being too big (I really need a 28), and some empty space on the sides due to my narrow root. The cups are a smidge too high under the arms, I feel like my deoderant will get on them, but it isn't too uncomfortable. Even when my boobs are a llittle too small for it it is comfortable and good for everyday use. Virtually invisible under clothes.
Another bra I got when my measurements were larger (30 underbust, 37 full bust) and it fit great when I got it, however the cups did feel flimsy, they are very thin and the underwires have always poked me in the armpits, not to mention it itches. I do like this bra as it's pretty, for lounging around at home but not for going out as I don't like to be stuck wearing itchy bras.. Also the band stretched out too much after a few wears and I had to wear it on the last hook after that.
Realized these Keia/Rubypink bras maybe should have been worn on the final hook and taken a 28 when originally bought although I was new to "actual size" bra ranges and couldn't even find 28's when sizing myself and buying them. Good for occasional wear.

Stretchy but completely wearable band. I love the dragonflies design, I wish I knew the Model Name/#. The cups give a wonderful rounded shape and the mesh dragonfly embroidery atop the cup isn't too stretchy. Overall, one of my favorite pieced bras... And I am a much bigger fan of moulded t-shirt bras! Unfortunately, I know the materials aren't very high quality so I wear it only occasionally in hopes it will last longer. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This is one of my fave Ruby Pink bras even though I'm not huge into pink. The band is stretchy but the cups are well fitting, the embroidery is done well, and the bows aren't itchy or overdone. I get a nice rounded shape instead of the bullets I get with my Freya's.
If I could find the name of this bra I would highly recommend if it can still be found.
This is a very pretty, lacy bra. The colors on the packaging said lime with lavender. I don't know that I would call it lime, more of a seafoam green in my opinion. The lavender is the lacy overlay. The cups are soft, I think something like a silk. It's definitely not a t-shirt bra, as the lace would show through too easily. The detailing on the straps is very pretty as well. It has a 3-hook fastener, which I like. The band is very stretchy, and I can guess that if the cups hold up okay, the band will get loose fairly quickly. I paid $18 for it, so it's not like I'm out a ton of money either way. I really like the soft pastel coloring and the design of it. I don't know that I'll wear it frequently because I do wear so many t-shirts, but I'll give it a go with heavier shirts or shirts that are textured maybe.
One of my few worn bras, it's a band size larger, but same cup volume than what I normally wear, so I wear this as small as I can go. It has a lot of detailing to it so I can't wear it with many tops. Gives decent support (probably would be better if they had it in a 28), but slightly pointy cups.
** This is labeled as a USA 30F, which would be a DDD cup, not a DDDD. Also labeled UK 30E and Euro 65F **
The band is quite stretchy. The top of the cups are very stretchy creating a tightening effect across the main overall shape = it's not pretty and shows through my shirts. Color is pastel aqua/green & lavender. Gives a much better shape than Freya. The pant is a different shade of green than the bra which is strange. :-/
The band is quite stretchy. The cups fit well and give a nice shape however the embroidery isn't well done and it coming loose (see photo). https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I am happy the straps don't have bows but I also don't love the cream color so I hardly wear this bra. Gives a much better shape than Freya.
Well, this sucks. I went to measure the bra and when I stretched the band over 20cm one of the wires popped through. I knew the materials weren't high quality but now I'm sad. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Very stretchy band (over 20cm!!!) but the cups had fit well enough to wear.. I'll have to see if it can be mended back in to wear again. Cream color = blech. Gives better shape than pieced-cup Freya.
Ack, that sucks! I'm terribly sorry about the underwire :-\. Weird though that the band has so much stretch and the bra can't cope with it. I suppose the back must not be very supportive then
The band is quite stretchy. The top of the cups are very stretchy creating a tightening effect across the main overall shape. I love the color but wish it weren't as stretchy. Gives a much better shape than Freya. The pant is a different white than the bra which makes me wear it much less often. :-/
I really think you're doing a great job on your blog.:) You are such a good writer. Keep up the good work!
