    Didn't fit

I purchased this bra from a Zulily sale and I had to do some guesswork with the size cause I couldn't find very much info. I ended up choosing this 70G, which is technically an index size smaller than what I usually wear (:8, FF UK). I was really surprised when I tried it on and the cup was far too large! It has mostly empty space at the top and a little wrinkling at the bottom, so i think it might fit someone who is a 32FF-ish with more taller roots than me (mine are extremely short). The band is definitely true to size tho, not small ... like other Polish brands--it stretches right to 32. I would love to try Samanta again in a cup size down, because this bra is so beautiful.

It has side boning and a side sling in the cups. The shape is spread a bit wider and shallower than other Polish bras, looks like it would give a rounded shape held closer to the chest. It seems like it is closed on top, with a strip of elastic sewn at the top of the cup (although I've seen someone remove that with a seam ripper before). It's a stiffer mesh that's definitely strong enough to give shape to soft breasts. The embroidery is absolutely beautiful, and the bra is a deep bordeaux type red. The straps are half adjustable because there is padding halfway up them. 2 hooks in the back, the wider spaced type, think Freya not Cleo. Very narrow gore--the wires come about as close as possible without overlapping. Cute little gold "S" insignia in the center. It comes in a cute little box, which is something I've seen Polish brands such as Gorsenia and Kris Line do and I really like that, it just makes it feel very special I guess.

Sadly I will have to sell it, but I will definitely be purchasing Samanta again, I can't wait to have a bra this pretty that fits me!

    • What a shame, it's so pretty--I'm so sorry it didn't fit! Are the measurements displayed your own? I'm just surprised that a cup that's bigger than a typical 32FF would be only 9" deep. I wore 32FF for quite a few years and usually looked for cups 10" or more.

    • wendybien yes, which confused me too--usually 9" deep would be too small for me in a non-padded bra. but I think it's due to the width and height--it's spread out in a less projected shape. The proof is in the wearing, I didn't even take a pic when I tried it on cause the cup was so big on me that it looked as if I'd taken a bra that belonged to someone else, that had no business being on my body at all.

    • Oh right, so you have a wider, shallower shape? So in narrow projected bras you are forced to size up to get the correct width?

    • No, sorry, I don't, the bra does. So there's lots of extra space all around.

Y'know, i thought about it and now tried it on again, gave it a stronger scoop and swoop and it definitely wasn't as ridiculous as i first thought, so I added pics wearing it and edited the review to reflect that. If i had taller rooted breasts i think it would be a better fit.

This bra measures much shallower than I normally need but it's a very round shape so I think that's why it almost works. If I had one size up, it would probably work really. It is a bit tight in the band since I measure a 34. So I would need a 75G.
