ABOUT THIS BRA This is an old bra in my pre-ABTF size that I no longer wear - it is over 5 years old so I did my best to match my bra with what is currently available through their online store (BR-01309) https://www.online-satami.com/BR-01309-WG-White-Cotton-Blended-Lace-Demi-Moulded-Bra. This was a limited edition from 2012 called My New Secrets Flawless bra by Satami. All the major construction details are identical (from the placement of the lace and gathering on the cups, patented "crescents" and 4 hooks in the back). What is different is the type of lace, waffle fabric, ruffles along the bottom edge and unique removable ...lace on the straps.
ABOUT SATAMI Satami is headquarted in Hong Kong and caters to that demographic. As such their bras often have features common in Asia, higher side wings to help bring the girls forward, pockets and/or padding to bring the girls up/together, and this brand in particular is known for extra wide bands (4 hooks!) to reduce/eliminate back fat. I particularly like the fact the gore is low and narrow - perfect for my narrow set.
BRA REVIEW As mentioned, I can no longer wear this bra and so can only comment on the fit of the band and various other details. The band is VERY snug due to the extra wide band AND the duo layer of powermesh. I would say this 70 fits like a standard UK 30 band - band only measures 30" stretched! The bra does seem to do what it claims - smooths out the back and sides while pulling everything forward. Quality wise, it is well made. NONE of the 5 bras I have (from 5 years ago) are stretched out after being in heavy rotation. AT ALL. The cups ARE premolded - with a built in pocket. Full band with 2 pieces of boning in each side wing. Wires are pretty forgiving - very similar to the ones in Comexim bras. I have heard they run a bit on the smaller side - cannot comment myself as these no longer fit. You may also want to size up in the cups for more/better coverage given to the plunge style. Full fitting and sizing details avail on my blog: http://multifariousmommy.blogspot.com/2017/05/satami-bras.html
WHERE TO BUY/TRY ON A word on where to get Satami. The largest selection is through their company website - which also offers bras on sale. While you can occasionally find bras on Ebay, they were few and far between (literally only 3 when I searched). As for brick and motar choices, if you are fortunate to live near a large metropolitian area with lots of Asians, possibly try the lingerie stores there. In California, there is a small chain called Personal Touch Lingerie that carries the Satami brand. If you decide to venture to a physical store at one of these TINY Asian run lingerie places, be forewarned about the possible HIGH Pressure sales tactics and VERY limited size selection. In essence, its possibly not much different than shopping at a regular boutique lingerie place! Ha! Read more 420 more words

NONE of the 5 bras I have (from 5 years ago) are stretched out after being in heavy rotation. AT ALL. The cups ARE premolded - with a built in padding IN ADDITION to a built-in pocket. Full band with 2 pieces of boning in each side wing. This particular bra has the LOWEST center gore of all the Satami's I've tried one/owned - which makes sense since this is the only Push Up bra I've tried. I have heard the cups run a bit on the smaller side - cannot comment myself as these no longer fit. You may also want to size up in the cups for more/better coverage given to the plunge style. BRA REVIEW As mentioned, I can no longer wear this bra and so can only comment on the fit of the band and various other details. The band is fairly snug due to the extra wide band AND the duo layer of powermesh. I would say this 70 is on par with a standard UK 32 band. The bra does seem to do what it claims - smooths out the back and sides while pulling everything forward. Quality wise, it is well made. NONE of the 5 bras I have (from 5 years ago) are stretched out after being in heavy rotation. AT ALL. Lace looks like its in good shape with the only hint of its age is the pilling on the inside of the bra (again, mine were cotton lined - the new ones are not). The cups are molded and 2 pieces of boning in each side wing along with their signature "underarm crescent-shaped panels" to help reign in the armpit/side boob. I did message back stating I did want to get in touch with their US based customer service officer. Seems like there is some interest here it would be great if we can purchase online at least!
Okay, I called one of the local stores to get the low down. First off, the was the wholesale website. Try www.shopptouch.com
Second, they can order Satami bras in your size of they don't have it in store. Shipping takes 2-3 weeks.
If you decide to place an order over the phone, I recommend calling the Arcadia location. She spoke fluent english without the pushy sales tactics I experienced in store (at one of the other locations)..
I got this bra used from another user. Sadly it doesn't fit. Very worn, so I'm not sure if the band is stretched or if it runs large. Very well made and pretty.
This isn't my correct size, I should be in a 30D or possibly a 30C from measurements. Because the cups are too large for me, the top of the cup rubs my armpit which is RARE for me (maybe because I'm so tall?) but it's also the design of the bra to have tall wings, tall cups, etc. I really love the way it holds me all around, like a hug https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I tucked in a pair of little "bust enhancer" pads and actually makes it more comfortable because it pulls the cup away from my armpit. The band isn't too loose by any means but isn't as snug as it should be, but again it isn't my correct size. The 4 rows of hooks are circular metal and I love that detail, as well making it easier to unhook than the regular hooks that are coated and rectangular.
This bra makes me look like I'm wearing a push-up padded bra, but it's not! I get slight quad-boob, but looks amazing still. Surprisingly it fits underneath t-shirts well. the lace lays flat.
This bra is a perfect match, except that the straps are so short, they are only 6.8" long!!!! I will try to find some other elastic and alter that because that is just insane.
I got this bra on bratabase! Overall, I like it. I like the tall band (with 4 hooks!), which is hard to find for small cup sizes. The lace is pretty. The bra has likely not been handwashed, because the cups are very bubbly. It doesn't seem to show much under a tee though.
The bra seemed to fit me quite well, but now that I see the pictures I took the cups are probably too big. They are wide enough, and the gore is low and accomodates my close breasts. The problem with the fit, though, is that the cups are too tall for me (I'm short waisted), ...and dig into myarmpit. This happens with many bras, and I would love to have cup height at the side of the cup as a measurement in bratabase, so that I can select new bras based on this. There is a little gap on the top side of the cup, probably also because it is too tall. The straps are very wide. They don't slip off when I tighten them, but I believe they contribute to the digging in armpit thing. Read more 81 more words

DO NOT let the "Minimizer" in the name fool you. This is NOT a Minimizer bra in the conventional sense. They mean this bra minimizes unslightly bulges in the back and under arms while providing cleavage. This bra DOES NOT minimize the breasts in any sense.
