    • lilcrasher , I read your Satami underwired bra and wireless bra reviews. Can you confirm that though your usual UK size is 32F and the Satami underwired bra fit well in a 34G, you received the wireless bra in 34E? If you did find the 34E wireless to be as good a fit as the 34G underwired bra, can you pinpoint why both are good fits, when they are two cup sizes apart?

I was going to buy the same underwired bra model in a tan color, but I changed my mind. I like the pinkish color of the wireless bra better. I'm confused about sizing for the wireless.

BTW, if you did get the 34E wireless, the product number is 2197, which is the C-E cup model.

Did Satami offer your readers a discount code? They charge California sales tax, which is high, and their shipping charges are high. Even worse is their No Refunds, Exchange Only Within 7 Days policy. This would all be easier to take with a coupon code.

Yes. I received a wired bra in 34G and a wireless bra in 34E and both fit me. I currently wear a 32F/32E in UK sizing. I go into a bit more detail on my first Satami post: https://multifariousmommy.blogspot.com/2017/05/satami-bras.html

In general though. For a wireless bra, you can "get away" with your normal size or sister size up due to the fact it lacks wires. Its more or less business as usual. (Though I highly recommend sizing up in the band unless you are accustomed to wearing corsets or your regular size in Polish bras). As for the underwire bra cups being 2 sizes bigger than the equivalent cup size, it has to do with the cups and wires themselves - very similar to needing to size up in band and cup on Polish bras. Perhaps someone else can chime in on this? My guess is that first, these are "lightly lined" bras vs fabric cups. I believe a lot of women need to go up a cup size due to the thickness of the cups - even in UK bras. Also keeping in mind most Asian bras are geared towards maximizing cleavage, thus lower center gores and less fabric in general. The Satami websites actually recommends going up a cup size for more "coverage". There is at least one other on bratabase who tried on a Satami bra in their cup size who reported nipples popping out. When I tried on the 34F in store (took a lot of convincing to even start at that size), the cups were too small. Lots of quadding at the top and wrinkles at the wire (not enough immediate projection).

    • Hmm, interesting, lilcrasher . My questions don't stem from ignoring your reviews, by the way. I read all of them, including the first Satami post, multiple times. I'm one of the rare ones who takes the same size in lined and unlined bras, Polish and UK. I usually take my UK size in Ewa Michalak bras, though my Comexim via Wellfitting Extra Deep Plunge did work in a sister size up. I'll probably try the wireless in 32E and hope to get results similar to yours. Thanks!

    • Lucky you! Wearing the same size in Polish and UK certainly makes ordering easier! I wear a 70H in Comexim and the band is ever so slightly too tight - so I wear it on my skinny days. I was able to wear a 70 band in Satami as well but have the same issue - creates extra bulges under the bra. >.<

    • I tried this bra on in both 34E and 34G (about a month apart) .. I didn't really see a difference - probably because it's wireless. You'll likely be fine in your usual size. 😀

    Didn't fit

    Edited to add:
My thanks to Bratabaser jennyanni for inquiring after my band measurements in my initial review. I had overstated both stretched and unstretched measurements by about two inches! I have no idea why these two measurements were so off. Measurements have been corrected.

I like this bra--no I LOVE this bra for its high wings and wide band in back. No back fat! No back bulging, no grooves visible under clothing! Makes me resent how most bras create back fat when it's not inevitable. The low gore is a mercy, too. Unfortunately I chose a band too big and therefore the cups don't give me the slenderized ... front view this brand is known for.

Extrapolating from this one 34E bra, the only Satami I've tried, I will in future:
    (1) Order a 32 band bra. I usually wear a UK 30F. This 34 band bra fits snugly on the tightest hooks.
    (2) Order a 32G Satami. I hope the straps will be less wide-set in front in a 32G compared to this 34E. Satami doesn't use DD in their sizing. I believe a Satami 32G is equivalent to a UK 30F.

This 34E's cup width is 6" and could be narrower on me. My breasts are less front-and-center than I expected. I believe it's because the wires are wider than necessary. The cups are filled without gapping or wrinkling.

The wide-set straps aren't worse than those of my 65F Ewa Michalak 3D bras. I have MUCH LESS underarm bulging and back fat in the Satami. My Ewa Michalak 3D bras and Empreinte Irina Very Plunge bras allow an average amount of underarm bulge and back fat. My back is TOTALLY SMOOTH in the Satami.

The Satami wires don't come all the way up the wire channel under the arms. If I push the wires all the way to the sides, the wired part of the center gore height shrinks from 1.75" to only one inch high. There are two side stays on the wing, under each arm. These don't bother me. I hope the underwires being all the way under my arms will also be fine. If so, I can achieve a more comfortable 1" gore height. Satami has super low gore bras, but they aren't available in the 32G range.

These fit notes apply to wearing the bra without pads. If I include the pads, my shape gets lumpier. As it is, the profile is projected and almost conical. More importantly, the front view is not as slimmed down as I'd like. That's the main reason to size down to a 32G.

Thank you! The bands look fantastic and the low gore is outstanding for us close-set bra wearers.

Yay! Someone else tried on a Satami! I went to the store and tried on one of their latest models after my last review - mostly to guage size. My usual 32F (UK) was waaay too small in Satami. Got fitted in a 34G. While I could have probably fit in a 32 band, it was VERY tight. Very slightly uncomfortable but my tight underbust is 29 so take from that what you will. Problem was they don't make a 32H.
