I freakin' love this bra - and this brand. This is my second foray into Scantilly and it won't be my last. If you have narrow roots and very projected breasts with lots of overall fullness (as I do) you will want to go up a cup size in Scantilly. FYI, I don't wear much Curvy Kate but, when I do, I have to size up in the cup in just the same way. Not surprising given that they're made by the same people. Interestingly, in one cup size up (and regular band size), the fit is perfection. Perfect lower projection, centre projection, the gore lies flat, the ... shape is great. I do find the bands perfectly snug - not uncomfortable but they'll hold their shape for a long while, I can tell.
Now, as for style with this bra, the eyelash lace is beautiful. The straps above the upper cups is a smidge loose (not observable but I can tell) but that has to do with root height as much as anything. It's not adjustable so if your roots are very short or you have proportionately little upper cup fullness, the strap detail may be loose. You could always cut them off and the remaining bra would be, perhaps, even more gorgeous (in a totally different way). You could also easily shorten the strap by using a seam ripper on the 2 or three stitches that hold the decorative strap up at the hardware to which it attaches. You could then easily hand stitch a couple of stitches to ensure that the strap is of the correct length for you.
The bra is incredibly comfortable, beautifully made and unique. Highly recommended though the price point is steeper than CK. The quality warrants the price.
Word of warning: For this style, the thong undies fit very large for size. I hate tight thongs and I often wear an XL (though I'm a US size 8 in clothing). I had to return the undies for a size M (though originally I purchased the L).
