This is the closest to perfect I’ve found so far, but the high gore will probably bother me over time. I like the thick fabric on the bottom, as it provides more coverage than most unlined bras. I’m ordering a sister size because I’m not sure about the band size, but keeping this in the meantime.
This plunge has a much more rounded shape than the Scupltresse Siren, so it fits me much better. This low gore is necessary for my closet set breasts, and this one sits very flat. Not sure about long term wear yet, as it felt quite right after a trial run of 4 hours.I did try the bigger band and I could tell it would ride up after a very short amount of time, so this is the correct band size. I may just have to wear it in. I LOVE how this bra does not keep my breasts in my armpits so my arms can swing free!
I haven't seen any other reviews of this bra in the new sizing (34 band). Let me say that it is AWESOME. I know that this is based on the Jasmine but I don't like the Jasmine (hurty wires, not enough lift, too little support in the stretchy upper cup lace, cups a bit too wide). The Chi Chi provides a great band - totally comfortable and firm. I wear a 32 often and this 34 gives as much support. It's also made of a soft material sewn atop the power mesh. The cups are totally front and centre and the lift is terrific. This bra gives almost ...an Empreinte boobs on a plate shape. I mean, only Empreinte is Empreinte, but at this price point you cannot beat this bra. I've got it in both the black and taupe colourways and I prefer the taupe. The fit is a bit better - though both fit extremely well - because black dye tends to mess with fabric ease and is always a bit less dynamic. I have found my latest neutral bra. Thank you for discussing the expanded band size on Sculptresse » Chi-chi Full Cup Bra (7695) I am glad more people can opt out of Panache Jasmine's all-around SINGLE-LAYER power mesh and enjoy a smoother cup and double-bagged band of Chi-chi. I'm glad the Cappuccino color wasn't too ashy and taupe for you! It's annoying that in 8 years this bra's colorways stuck to loud swimsuit-like animal or floral prints copied off Jasmine and not, say, more skintone or neutral options. If you're on the market for another neutral bra in this cut, you might like your size of the new 40E - Panache » Serene in the Vintage = cool pastel pinky-beige colorway.
Goodness this pushes me up and out! Very supportive, the side panel continues to win me over. This bra has a much more narrow cup than other Panache in similar size which is good for me. However, the center gore in uncomfortable because of how close-set my boobs are. Probably won't keep because of the core uncomfort.
I find that this bra fits true to size generally, though the band is snug. The lace on the top of the cups accommodates asymmetry really nicely. The only issue I have with this bra is that the cup seam between the lace and the other fabric is visible through clothes. In terms of shape, this bra pushes breasts up and center (more centering than Logan and more lift than Nico).
Wow, the girls are seriously up and in with this bra. Almost too much to be honest, the shape isn't rounded, just long and narrow. But, it is one of the more comfortable bras I own, so it goes with tops that aren't too tight so as to not feel too self conscious.
