This is the Shirohato Comuse Aphrodite bra (from Japan). Bratabase didn't recognise the model so I had to select Unknown. I wouldn't normally write a complicated review, but reviews would have been helpful when I was purchasing this bra, as shopping in Japan is insanely difficult if you don't speak the language, so here goes!
First I have to say this is definitely the ugliest bra I have ever purchased. Like, appliqué flowers, really???! What is up with Japanese underwear fashion?? But I wanted to try a Japanese bra since I'm in Japan and I really can't find a bra that fits me anywhere. I think I need really ...narrow, projected cups. I wear Ewa Michalak at the moment but they are too wide for me. So I figured why not try Japanese bras while I'm here? Google told me Japanese cup sizes are very small, so I ordered the biggest cup size and smallest band size in the cheapest bra I could find online (the closest bra shop is over 2 hours away), and this is what I got.
The bra is Japanese size i65, and the cups are wayy too big. I am happy with this cos there's a lot more option in smaller sizes! I'm thinking I'll probably be a g65 or an h65. I currently wear 65g in Ewa Michalak. I think the band fits pretty well on the loosest hooks, but seems pretty stretchy.
The bra itself is padded, and has removable pads, which are quite thick.
The underwires are as narrow as the Ewa michalak bras that I wear, but as this bra is too big for me, I'm hoping this will fit in a smaller size. The cup depth measures the same as my current best fitting bra (Ewa michalak pieperszk) so I don't really understand why this bra is too big on me, unless it's just way too big at the top. I guess I will figure this out when I swap it for a smaller size, and I will update this review. I'm also hoping this bra in a smaller size will give me some great cleavage! As I can't find any bras that will achieve this with my boobs since I grew out of Victoria's Secret!
I may make the 2 and a half hour trek to the nearest physical bra store this week sometime and hope they have some large cup sizes... Will hopefully add some more Japanese bras when I do!

silver the measurements look a lot like what i need... would you perhaps like to share wehere did you buy this bra? :)
Thanks erispe! I will update the name of the bra 😊
Scharminkeltje, I bought it on rakuten in Japan, if you are not in Japan you can buy it from http://shirohatoshop.com
I've once heard about a rule of thumb that if a the largest cup of a Japanese bra model is F or G, then it likely runs small in the cup; but if the largest cup is I or J, then it is likely true to size. It is not very accurate, but sometimes helps. The expensive models/big brands are likely true to size too.
Hope to see more information about the Japanese bras! I am trying to maintain a list of Japanese bras on bratabase (http://bra.pe/LEqM/), and there are not many of them right now.
This is my favorite bra in the "Grammar size good bargain bra & shorts three sets set H cup Lady's which entrusts you" set I bought from Shirohato's Rakuten shop for 6,080 JPY. This one is also a polyester and nylon blend bra with soft underwires that do not allow the gore to fully tack, and a very stretchy band, much like the blue striped one I also reviewed from my lucky bag. Actually, the label on this bra also says "Elegante", so the blue and pink bras are probably from the same brand.
This is the third bra from my "Grammar size good bargain bra & shorts three sets set H cup Lady's which entrusts you" lucky bag from Shirohato's Rakuten shop that I bought for 6,080 JPY. This bra has the firmest band out of all 3 bras, and the cup size feels about a cup size smaller than the other 2. I get quadboob in this bra, while the other two fit just fine. This bra is also made of a polyester and nylon blend fabric, just like the other ones. Overall, I feel like this lucky bag was a lot of fun, and a good bargain for the price!
I purchased a lucky set from Shirohato's Rakuten shop that was adorably titled "Grammar size good bargain bra & shorts three sets set H cup Lady's which entrusts you". It was a good bargain, because (with shipping) 3 bras and matching panties cost me 6,080 JPY ($57.00 USD through PayPal).
All of the bras that were chosen for me were ADORABLE. I really like this blue set, because the bottom fabric is ruffled. I can't find it on Shirohato's online shop, but the sale tags say "Elegante" on them, so I assume that is the brand name.
The band is very stretchy, so much so I think I ...could have gotten away with a band size smaller. The gore doesn't tack on me, but the wires on this bra are very soft, and stop in the channel about half an inch away from the top of the gore, so I guess the gore can't tack. The quality of this bra is okay, the ruffled fabric is already starting to come off a bit because the chiffon wasn't hemmed or sealed before being sewn on, so I'll have to stitch it back on. I asked my Japanese friend to read the fabric tag for me, and she said it says it is made of Polyester and Nylon. Read more 109 more words
I think "Grammer size" means Glamour size, which is the Japanese term for D+ cups. I'm really not sure about 'entrusts you' though.
The Rui Glamourous bra I bought seems much smaller than these, maybe I will have to try a Shirohato grab bag too!
Saphiro I think they meant "Glamour Size" too, and maybe "entrusts you" is what I am supposed to be saying to the set curator? There is a fair amount of trust that they won't just send me a batch of bras they haven't been able to sell! ;-P
You should grab one if you're feeling adventurous :-) Grab bags usually give me some anxiety, but this one was well worth it!
This is a very true-to-size Japanese bra. Very beautiful lavender color. Like most Japanese bras, it comes with removable padding. It is slightly too large for me without the inserts. I can wear it with the inserts, but I just hate wearing bras with inserts...
It should work with projected breasts. If you have very shallow and wide breasts, it probably will not work well.
The bra itself is really good quality, so much better quality than a bra set for the same price (~£7) in the UK. It also looks just like the picture, I'm always wary of that when buying online especially from Asia. It comes with 2 removable push up pads and removable straps. It is possible to remove the straps and use it as a strapless but it isn't as stiff and the best shape as a strapless, the idea is for easy strap replacement. The band is firm, probably about the same as Cleo firmness. The cups are small, unless you're in the low range of a cup ...size it is probably best to size up a cup if you can. This bra is a bit on the shallow side especially with the pads in, I'd prefer a bit more projection. The website does say whether a bra is slightly shallow or average, this one is slightly shallow. I'd say this bra would be equivalent to a UK 32DD-E, it's about the same size as a 32E I have with the pads out. The wires are also quite narrow, it's a little narrower than my lucy. The knickers it comes with are really pretty and good quality, I'd say size M is the same as UK 8 (Small), I usually wear a UK 10 but they stretch a bit and aren't too tight so I can wear them.
