I'm a runner and this bra is a life-saver. Although it's now too small and I'd have to go up a cupsize or two, it used to fit me perfectly and give amazing support (still gives plenty). The band is very tight, slightly uncomfortably sometimes, but I'm convinced this is necessary for heavy sports. It just makes it difficult to breathe very deeply sometimes, but you'll get used to it.
This is the sports bra to get. If you have an 'unusual' size, be sure to check out ebay, I got mine incredibly cheap, new with tags.
I would also like to comment that the colours available are very stylish and if you're bold, you don't need a top over this bra. I have mine in peach.
The band runs REALLY TIGHT! I could fasten lower part of it, but I could not breath. So I had to use the extender. And I have no problems with the upper set of hooks and eyes. The cups are not true to size, they feel smaller. I usually wear 28ff, and I won't be able to wear this bra on my fuller days. So I'd say this is more like 26G/24GG. The straps are not fully adjustable, but they are ok for me. The bra gives not perfectly round and smooth shape, bit it gives good support. And I like the color combination
I don't like how this fits on me, It kind of smooshes my boobs down - I like the uplift of panache sport and so far haven't really liked any other sports bra. I'm trying to bodybuild and I find this pushes my lat out (makes my underarms look fat) as my lats are quite pronounced (I WORK HARD FOR THEM! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" /> )
This is probably a better bra for cardio or yoga or something. Not for weight lifting IMO
The tighest 28 bra I've ever seen. It is great because I am 25-26 inches. I think it runs small in the cup, because an ordinary 28G bra would be too big for me. I own this bra in 30F and 28G and it seems that the depth of the cups is the same, but 28G is higher and gives more coverage. Very usrful for running and jumping, perfect support. Unfortunately, the straps are not fully adjustable. It is also hard to fasten it, because it is so tight
if your underbust measures between 22-26 inches with a bust of 36-38 inches, then this will probably be on the comfortably snug side without having to go through pesky custom orders or alterations!! :3
From what I've heard of Shock Absorber, I thought I should go up a band size. After trying the 30F, I felt that it might not be true. The 28 band is certainly snug, but it is a sports bra, and I didn't feel like I was unable to breathe.
I tried 28FF and 28G. The 28FF gives me some serious quad boob. The 28G fits much better and does not give me quad boob. Still, both of them had a bit of bounce when I jumped around. I don't think the 28G fits better because I'm actually meant to wear that size... it's probably because of my wide/shallow boobs that I got quad boob with the smaller size. I could see this bra giving top-heavy boobs some serious quad boob.
Volume-wise, everything is contained really well. I still get some movement when running but a smaller cup size would impact my breathing.
The band is extremely tight with very little stretch. I struggle to put it on, though it's fine once in place. I'm flexible so the top row of hooks is actually really easy to do for me. The bra is much easier to take off.
If I went with a larger band to make this easier to put on, I'd go down a full 2 cup sizes instead of one.
