Too tall for my short-waisted stature. The cup does not collapse and I feel supported despite the very tall cup. There is no push-up padding in this cup, yet I'm uncertain how one would achieve the look in the advertising literature. And, I've successfully worn this shade of red and under white knits--versatile. I'll try this one cup size down and hope for a great fit....hope.
It should be noted that Simone Perele uses a different measuring system (https://www.simoneperele.com/i13/size-guide/information.html). They skip DD entirely, so I think this bra might best equate to a 36DD UK rather than a 36E UK (though the tag does state E 36). I don't really know.
This bra is super comfortable. This is the first bra with a taller gore that has not bothered me in the slightest (I'm at about 6 hours of wear currently). It basically feels like the gore isn't there at all. Which is a good thing!
Unlike many lacy unlined bras I've tried, this bra has a band of ...elastic at the top of the cup. This could be an issue if you are VERY full on top, or if you have firm breasts. Mine are very soft so they basically listen to whatever shape I tell them to conform into.
The band material is not quite as stretchy as my Curvy Kate unlined bras, but still pretty stretchy.
As for the shape, it's not the most flattering I've ever seen. The cups tend to pull my breasts out towards the sides, which makes them look smaller than I prefer, especially on my frame. Without a shirt on, they appear a bit pointy due to the one vertical seam running up the center of the cup. With a fitted t-shirt they are easily rounded out, but still seem a bit pointy. The pointy-ness is exaggerated on my smaller side
Overall, I love the comfort of this bra, it'd be great for everyday wear, but probably not a great figure-enhancing bra. Read more 164 more words
Much too big in the band, much too small in the cups! Which shouldn't have surprised me, but I get confused by Simone Perele's sizing. The "anthracite" color looks to me like. a deep blue-black, rather than dark gray (what I was expecting). Lovely bra, but I suspect it wouldn't be supportive enough even in my size so I doubt I'll reorder.
Sides of cups flattened a bit to push tissue forward, does enhance/push-up without extra padding. Straps fit very wide; not long enough for racerback. Cup loosens a lot when straps racerback (would need a smaller cup size).
