This is my best fitting bra. Given my narrow shoulders, the straps do slip a bit but not enough to annoy me and certainly much less than most other bras. Band rides up a bit but that also doesn’t bother me.
This is the "triangle emboîtant" or"full cup plunge", a classic shape in Simone Pérèle bras. It is a true plunge, but with full coverage, managing to pair a very low gore with good support. To a certain extent, it reminds me of Elomi plunges, not in the look, but in the feel. Bratabase sizes me as a 34FF UK and the fitter said I would need a 95G(36F)/90H(34FF) in their half cups after I tried one, but in this shape, I can fit into an F. Yay! The colour is a beautiful bright orange and the picture doesn't do it justice.
This was my first bra purchase in an appropriate size and although it is not exactly a perfect fit, fits well enough that I am pleased and continue to wear it regularly. The entire bra is made of soft stretch lace and for this reason is very forgiving being slightly too small in the cup, but does give the smallest amount of overspill at the top, but not enough that is visible under clothing. I am not sure if the brand runs large in the band, or if it is the material, but the 36 fits very comfortably, and my usual size is a 38.
I was fitted for this bra at La Lingerie in Madison, WI. The store and staff are wonderful, and it was even more wonderful to find a pile of bras that fit me exactly. All of them violate what I thought were the rules of my breast shape (broad/shallow), which according to some require particular balconette or demi styles. This is a full cup bra with a horizontal/diagonal seam, and it is by far the most comfortable and flattering bra I've ever had. It is super soft, the lace is luscious, and I will buy one in every color.
