  1. Embraceable Full Coverage Wireless Unlined Bra (570148820)

The short and sweet version: sooofffft, very comfortable, very good support for a wire free bra. Brings boobs front and center. Follow the size chart on the Soma website page for this bra: https://www.soma.com/store/product/embraceable-full-coverage-wireless-unlined-bra/570148820?color=345&catId=cat40089&fromSearch=true&scPos=1-3701-3572#bra_size_chart and you will not go wrong.Only cons are straps do not adjust short enough for those who are high-set or have a short torso, and the wide elastic at bottom tends to flip up.

First off, this bra is soft, soft, soft. So comfy! The fiber content is 81% nylon 19% spandex but it feels like cotton. The cups are seam-free. It's also tagless! Nothing to rub or itch. Straps are ... fairly wide and not stretchy except for the adjustable portion in the back.

This is a wire free bra that I could wear to sleep in but also would not hesitate to wear outside of the house. The cups are moulded single layer fabric with side slings that extend from the straps to the band. They provide uplift that's surprising in a wire free bra and the side support is superb. I am getting no side boob at all wearing this. The band feels firm and supportive with 4 hooks in this size.

This bra is available in sizes 32D-44G US sizing. Small band women, don't dismiss this one yet. Soma uses +5 band sizing in their size chart and the cups are fairly generous in this brand. My best current size is 34G UK and in this brand 36G is very firm fit. In this bra the 36G felt a little tight and cut into my armpits so I sister-sized up. Finding my measurements on the Soma sizing chart, it puts me in a 38DDD, so I would say for a comfortable fit follow the chart. A 27" underbust would take a 32 band, 29" a 34 band, etc.

It's currently offered in 4 colors. I preferred the Vintage Pink to the Soft Tan colorway as it's closer to a nude for my very pale skin. The other colors are Black and Mochaccino which is more of a taupe than a true brown. Maybe they'll come out with a brown in the future.

I did notice that there is very little space in the straps for adjustment. I was able to get the adjusters over the seam attaching the elastic part of the straps to the strap fronts but I would not want to push them too much farther forward. My breasts are not set particularly high on my chest so for those of you who have short torsos or are high set this one may not work for you.

I found just one other minor problem with this bra, and that is that the wide elastic tends to flip up on itself. It doesn't bind uncomfortably when it does this though.

At $44 USD, this bra delivers comfort and support at a moderate price. It's available online and in Soma stores across the USA. You can frequently find it on sale if you are willing to buy more than one. Right now the website is offering these at 2 for $59. If you are in the market for wire free give this one a try.

This looks like a bra I would like, too. Support, wireless, and soft: what's not to love? Thank you for sharing!

I keep looking at the side view photo. Side support looks *really* good, which is something I always have to consider. You cannot see the slings from side view, but in the 7th image, yes, you can see them.

ALSO: Thanks for mentioning the +5 factor.

  2. Embraceable Signature Lace Perfect Coverage Racerback (570292462)

It’s the one I wear everyday but can’t wait to take it off. The band is very tight when sitting because it’s a very restricted racerback lace is attached from top middle down to band. Was surprised it wasn’t in this database, I’ve had several for a long time, both 38dd and 38ddd

I was measured in store and told that they didn’t have my size in stock, but would ship it to me. I’ve had it for a year and have worn it once, it hurts so bad. The wire digs into my rib cage when I sit, the cups’ fabric irritates under my arms and the wire pokes me there too. When I swoop and scoop it cuts into my boobs and I don’t fill the bottom out so it wrinkles.

Fits me great! I'm full on bottom, and all of my Wacoal bras leave a gap at the top. Not sure if Soma discontinued this one.
