My shape as I understand it: splayed, even fullness, average projection, slightly pendulous, low on chest.
The material of this bra is nice. It's really smooth on the outside, with a soft, sueded feel on the inside. The straps adjust FROM THE FRONT, which I love. I honestly don't understand why all bras don't - it makes adjustments so much easier. I got the Porcelain color, which is a light pink with rose gold colored hardware. I wouldn't call it padded, but the cups are thick enough to minimize headlights, which I like. The finishing details are okay - there's a few loose threads here ... and there and the end of the wire channel that goes under the arms has a scratchy seam.
Fit wise, it was kind of a mess. I bought it in an attempt to find something to smooth out my back rolls - which it kind of does, I guess... really, it just pushes them up so they squish out the top, which wasn't that much of an improvement. I could not get the straps right. If I loosened them enough that they didn't cut into my shoulders, I ended up with space in the top of the cups. The cup cut into my larger breast and my smaller one had a slight gap. Neither side filled out the bottom of the cups. The back band is just one big piece of material. It feels like it would stretch out fairly quickly and not being able to adjust it would become a problem. Length wise, the band seemed fine. Not too tight or too loose, although I'm starting to lose confidence in my ability to judge fit, so who knows. The larger distance between the cups didn't bother me. The metal clasp on the gore was a bit uncomfortable on my sternum, though.
I haven't owned a front-close bra for quite some time - I used to love them but I don't think the style works for me anymore. Appearance wise, I didn't like it. I felt like a dowdy old lady wearing it. I think I'm better off dealing with my back fat and sticking to prettier styles with adjustable bands.
