Super shallow, more shallow than Natori Feathers contour plunge. Cups are closer together than the Natori which would be perfect for me if it wasn't so shallow. The band is slightly stretchy, size down if you like them firm. The cups are tall and cut into my front armpits.
The mint-colored lace is lovely and I like that the straps are convertible, but this bra just doesn't work for me.
First I would like to mention that, due to the lace, this band is tighter than Third Love's 24-7 classic t-shirt bra. The overall quality of the bra (especially with its price tag!!!) was kinda disappointing. It seems a little flimsy and slap-dash, almost like they threw the lace on as a last minute thought.
The cups are also much too small, leaving the gore to float and bug me (but that's totally my fault. I need to be ordering bigger cup sizes!) Honestly, I admire the company, but I don't think this bra is really worth the cost.
This bra has graduated padding at the bottom of the cups, which I didn't know when I purchased it or I would not have. Cups are too far apart for me causing quadboob. The band is neat, as it has an adjustable back thingy making the front closer bra fit numerous band sizes.
Overall the cups fit much better than the 32D1/2, but there's still a little bit of gaping at the top under the mesh and if the straps are tightened to eliminate gaping, there's overflow in the center bottom. However, the wire on the right side is very uncomfortable and digs into my ribcage in the lower right quadrant, between about 6:30-7:30 if looking from the front.
I have tried out Third Love bras a few different times, always hoping that they will fit each go-around, but they never do.
The main draw for me construction wise is the soft, pliable yet molded cups. With my assemytry, it is incredibly difficult to find a "forgiving" bra that looks decent on both boobs without spillage or gaping. I had hoped that Third Love's bras would be the answer, but sadly their size-range leaves much to be desired.
It's a classic case of "band too big cups too small" kinda thing. And even then, I think they are too expensive for the quality. For what it's worth, the cups DO accommodate for my unevenness, but it doesn't mitigate the fact that the wire (on my bigger boob) still sits on the tissue, and the gore doesn't tack.
These are some important points. Thanks for the review, Laurizle!
