I signed up for Third Love a few years ago and have been wanting to try their line for quite a while now. I did the sizing questionnaire and was told my size was unavailable (28G). Of course. But in order to be eligible for their "Try before you buy" program you have to try the size they recommend for you. After years of waiting for my size to become available and countless emails filled with deals and specials I finally decided to change my size to what I normally wear, a 32DDD. So I was now able to try it before actually paying for it.
I ordered ...the 24/7 Classic T-shirt bra since that was what the site suggested, in their "Naked - 2" colorway and also purchased matching thongs in a Small. I was dying to see what all the hype was about. I will say, the material is so soft and very comfy! And overall it's a pretty decent fit. Of course, the gore doesn't tack but that is a common dilemma I seem to have. Other than that, there really aren't any other issues. The wires do seem to come out a bit far (nothing like the narrow width of EM or Comexim). But it isn't too horrible. And everything fits nicely. I have zero quadboob, the band feels nice and tight (tho I have to hook it on the last hook). I do seem to have a little bit of empty space at the bottom of the cup, prob need just a tad bit more cup depth and the correct wire width. I do like that the wires are close together at the gore and the tagless band is super comfy. The straps aren't fully adjustable but they're very easy to adjust and the goldtone hardware is a nice touch! It gives a very nice, natural yet lifted shape without all the padding. I have to wear it a full day first before deciding if it's worth the $70!! Ouch! That's a blow to my wallet! Pretty steep for a bra. But I'll update later after a longer day's wear.
UPDATE: So I gave this bra a nice long day's wear and it was extremely comfy and so soft. But the fit just isn't as good as I had hoped for. I decided to return it and shipped it back. I honestly prob would have just kept it if the price wasn't so steep. But for $70, I expect a perfect fit! EM is almost half that price and her bras are as close to perfection as you can get in regards to a proper fit. But who knows? If Third Love ever does expand their size range like they say they plan to, I may give them another shot. I'd say if you CAN find your size and get a proper fit then the quality is good and the material is super soft. It might just be worth it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
UPDATE 2: I am SO angry at myself!! I just now realized that I returned this bra without ever measuring it!!! I'm so sorry to anyone that may be looking into these measurements. That is not like me, I've just had my head in the clouds lately. I've been stuck on stupid all summer long. Lol. I sincerely apologize https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Read more 458 more words
This bra should have been cozy, but for some reason it just fit all wrong. The cups were somehow both too shallow and too deep, and the band wasn’t comfortable. I see the appeal of the style in theory but in practice it didn’t work for me.
Seems nice overall, but wasn't a fit for my shape. The point where the top of the cups meets the straps in the front is slightly too high and/or too wide, so that the fabric rubs against my armpits in a weird way. There's a small embroidered bit / stitch on the upper-outer part of the cups - only a half-cm long or so - that prevents the outer fabric from smoothing out along my shape. This caused the fabric to pull in a way that created an awkward fold of fabric near my armpits.
The underwire seemed to fit relatively well - the gore wasn't too tall, ...which is a problem I've had with some other thirdlove bras. There was some gapping along the inner edges of the cups, especially near the gore, although very minor - if I stood with my shoulders further back than normal, the gapping disappeared.
Visually, I didn't like the color (Atmosphere) as much as I had hoped; it was a bit dull when against my skin tone.
Overall, it was a close fit, but not enough of a 'win' for me to keep; I returned the bra. Read more 86 more words
This is a lovely bra! It is a push-up plunge, so there’s less room in the cups and less coverage overall, but it has a very comfortable low gore and the lace lays flat as intended.
This bra was a really interesting fit, I’m not surprised it was discontinued because it definitely won’t work for everyone. The band runs very small for a 32 (it only stretches to 28.5) especially considering that as a front-clasp the bra has no room for adjustment. The fabric is extremely soft and cozy, it almost offset the discomfort of the underwire digging in from the too small band (almost). The cups are spaced far apart, and are quite wide. This bra is even more wide-set and wide-cup than the brand’s famous plunge bras, which was surprising. This bra also has significantly more projection at the wire than the plunge bras, so that’s a plus for anyone who finds the plunges too shallow. This bra is beautiful and the quality is wonderful, it’s a shame it didn’t work for me.
This bra is a deep plunge, and fits a little differently than the same brand’s 30G - Thirdlove » 24/7 Classic Contour Plunge . In theory, this bra fits me well, but there’s something very uncomfortable about how low the gore is on me, it somehow puts pressure on my sternum and is not comfortable if I wear it for too long. If plunge usually work great for you, this might be the perfect bra! I will note though that it has significantly less projection at the wire than 32F - Thirdlove » 24/7 Perfect Coverage Racerback (100063521910 .
I bought this Thirdlove bra to wear with lower-cut dresses and shirts and it fit great (until my size changed)! Super comfortable and seamless fit, lightweight, and feels very natural! This style is currently sold out online in all colors! Check it out online at: https://www.thirdlove.com/products/24-7-classic-contour-plunge-1
Super comfortable Thirdlove bra for all-day wear for fuller-chested women due to the thicker and soft straps! Full coverage prevents spillage and appears more seamless under shirts. Bought to wear to work before my reduction and if this was still my size I would wear it everyday! Check it out online at: https://www.thirdlove.com/products/24-7-perfect-coverage-bra-11
Would highly recommend this style to anyone looking for an everyday-wear bra! The memoryfoam cups fit to your shape and are so light and comfortable that it feels as if you’re not wearing anything. Adjustable straps are designed to minimize slippage and are very comfortable. The nude (Naked 2) color is great for wearing under any fabric without obviously showing through. Bought before my reduction so only worn a couple times but I loved it! Hand-washed with care per ThirdLove directions. In perfect condition and ready for a new owner to love it too https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Check it out online at: https://www.thirdlove.com/products/247-t-shirt-bra-memory-foam-cups Thirdlove
