Tillys.com was having a sale a couple years back, where a bunch of stuff was buy-one-get-one-free on clearance items, so I took advantage of the offer and got two new bras for very, very cheap.
Obviously, this was before I learned about bras. And I'm being totally serious; my knowledge about bras pretty much consisted of "You wear them", and that's it.
Looks-wise, I find this bra to be quite pretty. I like the pattern and the orange ribbon through the white lace. Very fresh and young.
The straps don't adjust all the way, which I don't really care about, but after a while of wearing them ... (and throwing in the washing machine and dryer – don't hurt me), the non-adjustable part of the strap would twist and curl and not lay flat, which can be seen in one of the photos. I also didn't really care about that. The straps would also slide off my shoulders, thanks to the too-big band.
After a while of wearing them, the underwire popped out of one of the cups on one of the bras. No surprise there, after all this was (and still is) a terribly ill-fitting bra for me.
Breast tissue spills out the cups like a fat cat in a tiny box.
Aside from the fact it is way too small in the cups and far too large in the band, the bra itself wasn't very uncomfortable. Nothing itched or irritated. It was smooth and pretty. There is some extra padding at the bottom of the cups (as can be seen in one of the pictures) which I didn't care for. I was (and still am) anti-pushup, but it is so minimal in this bra that I didn't give it much thought.
Even after so much abuse and wear and conforming to a body it's not meant to fit, both of them have held up pretty well (aside from the underwire on the one). Solid construction. No loose stitches or pieces falling off or terrible misshaping.
