A nice lacey version of the Doreen. A key difference here is that the cups are not cut into the chest panels as in the regular Doreen; instead, a lace strip is drawn from the strap to the centre and the top line of the cup is elegantly sewn along. In order to stabilise the lace the strap hooks are in the back; they are still fully adjustable, however.
Instead of three panels to make the cup, there are only two drawn diagonally. This created a smoother line and it does comfortably cross the apex whereas the regular Doreen is likely to be off by a centimetre or two. ... Due to a lack of cup separation, the upper cup's panel actually makes a sharp curve downward to finish the gore and I must say it helps distribute the tension caused by splayed breasts. There is still a minor amount of wrinkling, but as much on the Cotton or the regular.
In terms of comfort, I'd put this between the regular and the Cotton. The scallop binding is quite soft, and the non-lace fabric is a soft polyester which glides well against the skin.
