Bought for my tiny kid sized about 28GG. Liliana is more of a plunge foam version of their Nichole, Liliana seems suited for bigger than average base and low projection but gives nice immediate projection. It also does a great job of having one of the shortest strangest bands I've ever seen on a bra yet. Like 2 overlooked stumps sort of jutting out from the outer wire area, extending a scant 3" long apiece.
It's not a bad shape match but this is mainly down to having a fuller shallower cup that sits open at the inner aspect and doesn't cut into my kid's inner ...tissue where breasts join, and the gore isn't sitting on them or jabbing them there either. It's not the Ewa M cut but it as a similar kind of a tilt to the way the cups sit which is great for much closer set breasts that can't handle much height. Given that, it's not a bad fit for casual wear after tailoring the bands and straps to be you know... not ending just underneath the rear armpit area. Read more 78 more words
Runs small in cups! I have a Cleo Lily in 28GG that fits well (almost big), and this cup gives me quad boob. Although the band feels good! The quality seems good and it's pretty. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I really like that the straps are thinner than any of the other bras I have.
I wouldn't say it runs small in the cups. It's very wide and shallow. It's a very different shape than your Lily, which is fairly narrow and projected. That could be causing the quad boob.
oh, thanks for pointing that out! that could definitely be it.
It was a bit wide in the cups for me, it's gorgeous and high quality, really soft. If it works for you then congrats because its really just bloody gorgeous! Fits more like a 26H than 28GG
I got this bra from another user in an exchange and was really impressed with just how pretty it really is. I don't think the pictures do it much justice. But it's such a dainty, sweet and innocent looking bra. The fabric is nice yet sturdy and the overall construction seemed fairly supportive.
This is a very tight 28, and I could barely hook it on the first hook, but that's a good thing for me with my petite, narrow frame. It really didn't seem to have much stretch to it so you should get some decent life out of it. And I LOVE that there are 3 ...rows of hook and eyes! Makes for a much more supportive bra. The cups, however, were way too big for me. But then again, I normally wear a 28G, sometimes FF. SO I really can't say with much certainty if the cups run small (as I've heard) or true to size. I'll have to update after I try a 28G. But in this 28GG I couldn't even fill out the bottom of the cups, lots of wrinkling! And the wires are very wide, they reach almost around to my back! Also, I felt like the straps were maybe just a tad too far apart, for me and my narrow shoulders anyway. But everything else about the bra felt great! The gore wasn't a problem, but I see the potential for it to possibly start digging in had I worn it longer. The straps are fully adjustable and I love the cute "heart-shaped" metal hardware on them https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The detailing on this bra is very subtle, yet screaming to be noticed, if that makes any sense. The cute little black and white bows in the center gore contrast the ivory with black polka dots. And the black ribbon weaving through the lace of the cups adds a little something extra.
Overall, I would recommend this bra, though it's hard to say with confidence not having the proper size. But from what I COULD tell, it seemed rather comfy. It's not the most supportive, but the 3 hooks on the back make up for that. And though the cups were too big, I loved the shape this bra gave me - a perfect mix of round yet natural, not pointy at all. Read more 287 more words
Betty is a beautiful bra! When I first got her, the band was so tight I could barely fasten it. When I did get her fastened, the cups were distorted from the band being too tight, causing the wires to be too wide and the cups to be too shallow, giving me space at the bottom and sides of the cup, and the slightest bit of quadboob at the top. The gore was also floating. I am a true 28, and it was very, very tight.
I got an extender and starting wearing her with the extender. With an extender, the band is much more comfortable, the cups ...sit much better (I still get a little bit of space at the bottom and sometimes a tiny bit of quadding), and she's overall much more comfortable. The gore still does not lay completely flat, but it's not uncomfortable at all. The problem is that I am very close set and have a lot of center fullness, so even though Betty has a narrow gore, she doesn't have enough projection near the gore.
The fabric is soft and the lace is not scratchy at all. The shape is very round. Under clothes, it's a very minimised look. Without clothes, I think Betty looks gorgeous on me. She makes me feel very confident about my boobs. Bratabase marks her as not fitting, but I think she fits pretty good-with an extender. She's one of my favorite bras.
Edit: I've bent the wires to make them narrower, which also gives more depth in the cup. The fit is significantly better! They are surprisingly easy to bend, but they bend back a bit when I put it on. I'm still using the extender, which is why the straps seem too wide. Using a ribbon to tie it racerback helps and it also gives me more space in the cups. Read more 204 more words
Gorgeous bra, a great shape for me! Not too shallow, boobs don't fall out. It's GREAT. I need a bigger band and cup size, though. Band I knew would be too small, I'm a 30, but I like to get 28's and wear them with an extender at first so the bra will last longer. Cup Almost fits, but is a size too small https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Wow, the color of this bra is amazing. It is quite unique. The actual detail of the bra is also amazing. From the love heart strap adjusters to the patterns of the lace this bra is beautiful.
However, the shape is all wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. The cups are shallow and super wide. In fact the underwire goes all the way back to the back of my arm pit. No its not too big. The center of the bra is not deep enough pushing your breasts in an east west direction.
The actual back band is only 8 inches long on the loosest hook. That is, from underwire ...to underwire across the back which means when you put it on the underwire gets pulled right back to your back instead of meeting nicely at your armpits.
The bottom of the cups is too shallow and my breasts seem to double over/fold over and down because of this. See photos. This seems to be a problem most women have and even the model wearing this Bra in Tutti Rouges promotional photos has this same problem.
The underwires are almost like a Nike symbol or a tick if you like. So the majority of your breasts are pushed out the sides and squashed in an odd shape. Yet there is still extra fabric on the sides where the underwire reaches your back.
I really wish they would re-do this bra in a regular fit and shape. If I could only just bend the underwire to a standard shape the bra would be a whole new bra instead of having banana shaped underwire. I tired to wear this bra around the house. Only after some time when I lifted up my top to see what it looked like I realized that one of my breasts was totally out of the cup and sitting on top of it. Needless to say, I won't be able to wear this bra. Such a shame since it looks stunning when it's not on. Read more 229 more words
