The Tutti Rouge Jessica is an interesting bra, it allows you to wear it 3 different ways. You can wear it unlined or with the boosters, and have 2 levels of padding to choose from. I think it fits nicely as an unlined bra despite the wires being a bit wide, but I'm not quite sold on the boosters, I feel like they give an odd shape, although it's less noticeable in photos that in person, so maybe I'm just paranoid about them. Full review on my blog.
I remember trying this bra on at a local boutique. I didn't buy it because of how prominent the boosters looked under my shirt. It's so pretty though!
That is the bra's primary downfall is the shape of the boosters. I'm not sure how it photographs so much less lumpy under a shirt that what I feel like it looks like in person though.
This bra runs huge, people. It runs a full band and full cup size large, almost 2 cup sizes large I'd guess. The cups are very, very deep. It's narrow and projected, the only such shape offered by Tutti Rouge. I have listed this bra, it's currently altered to a 28FF-G but is reversible so it would fit a 32F. I'm sad it's not a perfect fit because aesthetically it's beautiful. Full review on blog!
I've lost a lot of weight and have been trying to find my new size. I thought I was a 30E when I ordered this, but I'm really more of a 28F. I wanted to exchange it to try for a better fit, but 28F wasn't available and customer service said they weren't restocking 28F anytime soon ☹️ I missed the return window because reasons (have to ship internationally in person during business hours and I work late).
Overall: Really pretty!! The heart strap sliders are so freaking adorable. I have been dying to try this brand and really wanted it to fit 😔 The band is a ...bit too big and stretchy. The noir/sugar color had the stretchiest band at 32 inches, while the nude/creme color had the tightest 30", and the nude color was in-between at 31". It digs into my breast in front of the armpit on my larger breast so much that it's too uncomfortable to wear. Otherwise it fit well and is beautiful. The Liliana's wings seem to be higher than the other bras I have from Tutti Rouge and the Freya Deco which I own several of. Maybe this is why I was having issues. I've heard that the cups on this style are shallow which could also be a factor. Hopefully someone will see my listing and buy this beautiful bra and love the way it fits them ❤️ Read more 129 more words
This is the second of two sizes Tutti Rouge sent me to review in Lilliana. The 30E I do not get any quadding, but the wires become much wider in this size. Full review is on my blog and has a review on both the 30D and 30E.
This bra runs WAY off from the labeled size! I am about a 32F and these cups fit, but the band still rides up! It measures at 32.75. I will probably have to get it altered soon as it rides up a bit even on the last hook. The cup construction reminds me a lot of unpadded Cleos. The cups on this bra feel light as a feather, I think it'll be great for summertime. I get a small diagonal wrinkle on my smaller side, but it's not a big deal. I'm just happy that the top actually lays flat on me! It also feels comfortable and the design is very cute. Wires are narrow and cups are deep. My one comfort issue is that the wires are quite hard, I will probably end up bending the gore out because it stabs me a little.
The second set I recently purchased from the Tutti Rouge Carpe Diem A/W 2014 range was Eliza - a stunning bra and matching 'mini-brief' that is the same design as previously available Fifi.
The bra is a slightly 'twist on a classic' combination of royal blue with the slightest hint of indigo, and a light raspberry pink. As it's not your more standard pink/purple mix it looks like quite a fresh colour pairing which I think gives a modern update to this typically girly/romantic design. The outside of the bra is a subtly dot patterned mesh in the blue/indigo shade, and the raspberry tone is from the mesh ...on the inside of each cup. The gold heart shaped adjusters are present on the fully adjustable straps, as is a fairly large blue ribbon rosette, overlaid with a thin pink ribbon rosette and a large pink circular gem on the centre gore. Sounds flashy and tacky, looks less so in person (and I'm not a fan of spangles or overly fussy designs).
The unpadded lined cups are made of two thin layers of mesh with a vertical seam up each cup, and a 'side support' sling made of more pink mesh. The thick lace at the top of each cup is part of the blue overlay layer and has some stretch to it. The cups are slightly see-through with just a hint of nipple!
There is a rather gorgeous frill of indigo lace across the front of the body underneath the cups which makes me go 'oooh rarr!' in a very excitable way and was one of the things that appealed to me about the bra - it's stunning in person too.
Eliza is very similar to Liliana in terms of the shape it gives - the wires are comparably wide and it gives a familiar minimised shape, albeit with perhaps slightly more projection/uplift due to the side sling (and given there is no padding in this bra I would think without the side sling it may give a very deflated profile).
This works well for me and my wide rooted, shallow breasts. It is however the polar opposite to the Nichole bra I previously reviewed. It's great that Tutti Rouge are catering to women with very different breast shapes, but I do wonder if there will ever be a way that manufacturers are able to identify what breast type a particular model may suit? Perhaps by referring to previous models....or at the very extreme providing measurements so that consumers have more of an idea of whether a bra may work for them. It still surpises me just how two bras of the same 30E size can be shaped so differently. The band is comfortable and just right for me.
The top of the bra has some stretch to it but given that this one fits me like a glove (and I have very little breast tissue on top) I would imagine this would not be compatible with anyone who needs much space on top.
There was a little gore stabbing the first time I wore this bra, but on subsequent wearings this seems to have resolved itself. The matching knickers are gorgeous, but I had to size up to a large due to little stretch in them. Design wise they're flawless, and not as low-rise as I feared they may be. Read more 451 more words
This bra is so comfortable that it's unbelievable. Materials are very soft even the lace. The center gore is a little too high for my liking (I'm used to wear plunge bras) but it doesn't bother me as it's not scratchy. Straps adjust only halfway which might be a problem for someone. Band feels nice and firm but not too loose or tight. Very nice bra it's my new favourite <3

So sad this bra didn’t fit. The band has been altered down to 29” which works great for me, but the cups are a bit deep and the gore too high. I almost decided to keep it though because it’s such a pretty mint color. Other than the bow it reminds me of a vintage bra. Now I want to keep it again
The cups have a shiny satin look and are low-cut. The upper part of the cup is black lace, with a silicone band at the inside. The lace is attached to the strap at the sides, and there is a side-support part in between.
I have wide root shallow boobs with high roots and even fulness.
The lower part of the cup works pretty well for me. The wires are wide enough and cup depth is okay too. However, the lace part is cutting into my roots, causing quadboob. The apex of the cup is empty and wrinkly (similar to orange-in-a-glass effect). It seems like this bra is so closed on top it cannot handle any upper fulness at all.
Long story short: I would not recommend Kitty to someone with high roots and balanced to upper fulness.
I got just because I was making an order for Scharminkeltje and I wanted to try. Such shame it doesnt fit! label say 30E but I would say its 32E and it runs loose in the band and is big in the cups. `the material is nice and sheer. Love the colour, is perfect for all seasons, and will not show under light colours.
It's not often when a bra arrives that I get the butterflies I had on seeing the pics - but this set really does look phenomenal. The purple is much duskier than it looks in some of the promo pics - which is great. There is pink lace on the top of each cup, and pink edging underneath each boob framing each cup. There is a leopard print bow in the centre - I usually hate and actively avoid any animal print but actually this goes quite well with the style and colours of the set.
Coordinates include a brazilian knicker which I had to size up ...to a large in, and a short which fitted fine in medium (albeit with a fairly low rise).
This is a non padded bra with a three part cup construction. The website calls it 'semi-sheer' which I guess is true - in that the bottom section is not sheer, and the top part is. The bottom section (made up of two parts) is two layers of laminate non-stretch material. The top section is also non-stretch.
The band is loose - in fact, I'm thinking I may need to start on the middle hook - so some people may want to size down. The wires are medium to slightly wider than average - just about ok for me but I wouldn't want them to be any narrower personally. They are no where near as wide as Liliana (my Eliza review will be up within the next few days hopefully so if superwide wires are what floats your breasts/boat then keep an eye out for that!). The shape is definitely best for someone who has more immediate projection than me, and I believe would be compatible for those who are full on top. I am fairly shallow and full on the bottom, but with enough swooping and scooping, and adjustment of the straps, I can still get a pretty good fit. It's not my perfect bra fit wise - but it's so beautiful and makes me feel so great it's worth it.
I would say this bra is a very similar construction/fit to Panache's Jasmine (although I take one size down (30DD) from my usual in Jasmine) - so if that works for you I'd recommend Nichole in at least one cup up from Jasmine size and possibly a band down depending on how tight you like your bras to fit. The main differences are the top section in this is not stretchy though, so I think Nichole is less accommodating for those who are FOT, and especially for those with tall roots - you can see that it seems a bit like a mismatch between my top tissue and the bra, as although I'm shallow with little on top I think my tissue is still taller than this bra ideally wants . As above, I have some slight wrinkling on the top section on my smaller boob but it doesn't cause issues with comfort or support so I am not bothered by this.
Comfort
It is with a sad heart that I have to say this bra was very painful for me to wear. Foolishly I took it on holiday recently (got back last night and have never been more pleased to wear a wireless bralette today) without having worn it first as I so rarely have any major fit problems, especially with regards to the gore. I wore it on the middle hook and after a few hours had the most stabby, excruciating gore poking. I had to stuff tissue down the front of the bra to stop it cutting into my skin. I wore it 2 days later on the loosest hook, thinking this may help, and although it was better it was still very painful. I'm going to measure it for Bratabase - I'm thinking the gore must be a bad height/width combination for me that I'll investigate further.
** UPDATE: Measurements now on Bratabase - the gore is wider and taller than I am used to. I think it's actually not the height as I first thought, but the width that is more the issue for me. Be aware that for those with close set breasts, this bra may be your mortal enemy.**
In conclusion, I'm unsure how often I will wear this purely down to how shockingly uncomfortable it was, and the fact that in my heart of hearts I know it's not the best shape for me. I'm going to try and figure out the issue with the gore and see if there's anything I can do to improve the situation, as it really is a lovely bra - good quality with very wearable coordinates. Watch this space!
I have been favouring moulded smooth t-shirt bras since finding my correct size, so the Liliana is not something that fits into the usual type of bra I buy. Tutti suggested I sized up in the cup from my normal 30DD size, and although I was a tad hesitant initially, I'm glad I did.
The band seems to run fairly true to size despite people saying they run small. If anything I'd say the Liliana is quite loose as I think it's very comparable to my Freya 30 bands which I've gathered are larger than average. However i'm starting on the loosest hook and no doubt will move onto ...the middle after a few wears like I have with my Freya ones.
Cups fit me very well, definitely nice and wide and shallow, perfect for the shape of my boobs! Straps are fully adjustable which is BRILLIANT - I was sad that a Birds of A Feather bra I tried earlier on in the year had to go back due to it's half adjustable straps being ridiculously long for me!
This new season purple and black colour is nice, still quite bright. The black isn't that visible from the front. The matching shorts and brazilian are both lovely - better than I was expecting. The fit is quite generous - given I am a size 10-12 and ordered medium which are fairly roomy and that there are many ladies with much slimmer bums and legs than me I'm surprised that they don't do an extra small as well as small. One of the nicest knickers (ie not shorts!) I've tried as they're not restrictive around legs or bum cheeks and don't cut in to muffin top area at all either!
As we're heading into winter now I've realised I really don't need a moulded seam free bra all the time - under jumpers and loose fitting clothes I can easily get away with this type of bra and have really enjoyed trying and wearing something that's a bit different (for me!). What a pretty bra. It is also, however, HUGE. I almost always fit perfectly into a 30E. This is large in band and cup. I am not sure if I should go with 28F or even 28E. Very disappointed after a long wait for its arrival. I will exchange it, though, as it is really lovely and I think once I find the right size it will be a favorite.
ETA: Tutti Rouge email support was great. They recommended 28E based on my measurements (I never wear 28E, 28F or 30E usually works) and I went with it. It fits pretty well, even ever so slightly big in the cup, so Tutti Rouge Nichole Bra runs big in the cup.
I love almost everything about this bra. I do think that it's intended for a shallower, wider 30E. I'm finding that I'm more compatible with narrow wires and more projected cups, but I'm feeling like it's almost impossible to find those. With that said, I think a perfect bra for me would be like 7.5" wires and 9.3" ish depth. That's fairly unrealistic and I think it'd make for an unpleasant shape.
I like the shape this gives me. It's a bit less projected, and makes my shape look fairly even or more FoT if anything, but it's rounded so it's not that annoying sad 7 look. Speaking of which, I ...think this bra is good for FoT to even shapes. The top mesh part is actually one of my favorite features of this bra, but I saw a lot of other reviews saying the opposite. Without the mesh, my boobs wouldn't fit the cups as well.
It fits pretty perfectly depth wise, the wires being so wide. The band isn't very firm, but it's firm enough. I have a 30" ribcage, and for me I would ideally wear this on the second set of hooks, because when I scoop it doesn't really stay put with the first set. Also, the straps are pretty wide set. I have fairly wide shoulders (bigger than my hips) but the straps are still pretty wide set. They stay put when I place them closer towards my neck, but that makes the cups gape. Not a deal breaker, but just a warning for anyone considering purchasing this model.
Appearance wise, I love absolutely everything about this bra. Tutti Rouge designs are my favorite. I wish stores here sold the brand.
All in all, not a 100% right fit for me, but it's about as close as my Freya Longline which is currently my best fitting bra. Tldr: If you have FoT to even, shallow (or MAYBE semi/ projected??)boobs, and wide roots, this bra should be a good match. Read more 220 more words
I bought this bra in the ivory color way which is one of the older styles, so it runs one cup smaller than the new ones. Therefore I ordered the 30E instead of my usual size 30DD. The band feels true to size. The cups are half-padded.
Like all bras I have tried from Tutti Rouge (Pearl, Betty and this one) it is very comfortable and fits my wide-set, kind of shallow breasts very well. I don't have any pain at the center gore in this bra which is a common problem for me.
My breast tissue is pretty soft so I get a little bit of quadraboob where the padded part of the cup meets the lace but not enough to warrant sizing up, it also isn't noticeable under clothes. Before I bought it I was worried that the padded part of the cups wouldn't cover my nipples but it actually does.
Overall I find this bra very cute and comfortable and I plan to get it in more colors https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I remember trying this bra on at a local boutique. I didn't buy it because of how prominent the boosters looked under my shirt. It's so pretty though!
