Being my first bra of this size, I feel that I am confidently well on my way to finding my true size. In fact, I think that this is remarkably close, if not it. Besides being slightly itchy (that happens with lace), it felt really good. I didn't feel it digging anywhere, and the band wasn't too loose or tight. I didn't feel the underwire poking me, either. The only thing really wrong with the bra would be some slight gaping at the top of the cup. The top edge of the cup it sat flush because of the elastic lining it, but the top of the cup itself was not flush with my skin.
It looks like a pretty good fit, especially considering it's your first in your size! It's pretty too!
It is super pretty and I agree that it looks pretty good. I wonder if you tighten your strap just a teensy bit if it will help with the gaping? Also, I couldn't see the side very well in the picture, but I was wondering if the cup is extending fairly far under your armpit, and beyond your breast?
veggiechic I haven't tried tightening the straps because they felt pretty solid, but I'll give that a try. Also, it's very possible that the underwire doesn't quite match up with my breast tissue. I'm really struggling to figure out where my tissue ends and the rest of me begins, both on the sides and the top. I /think/ that I have short rather than tall tissue based on when I lean over, but when I stand up it seems higher, maybe? And if I'm struggling with the height, then I'm really struggling with the width. I think my tissue is deep, but it could be narrow (I think that's the word).
man, i really wanted to love this bra. im pretty sad that it didnt work out, and ive kept it for some time now hoping that eventually it would magically fit, but it doesnt https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> its a gorgeous color, sort of a pale raspberry with a dark blue lace overtop. the lace itself has a sheen so its almost shifting to a purply blue. its a half cup, but theres a decorative lace trim along the top that makes it nearly look like a balconette at first.
fit wise: the band is a 34, and it feels best on the tightest hook. im ...not sure if size down though, because then id most likely need an extender, and im not sure how fast TR bras break in. the straps are also wide set on this, so an extender would make that worse. i cant attest to if the width would dig at armpits, because i havent worn this for an extended time, but i assume i would find it more annoying as time went on. the gore is high, but so far in try-ons doesnt seem painful or stabby. its nice and narrow, so thats a plus! the wires feel like a good width if maybe a bit wide, and they dont feel too tall or too short at the sides.
my main issue is with the cups. there is some odd large bubble/wrinkle at the top of the cup, right across the whole top section. the edge lies flat, but there's space inside still. its really similar to what i get with 3 piece cups, but this is definitely constructed like a half cup so im confused on what is happening. i fill the bottom 2/3 of the cup really well, but i have extra space in the top half, and thats not usually how half cups are for me. i think the cup wants more upper fullness than i have, and closes off too quickly for me, leading to empty space that makes that weird baggy wrinkle. its very obvious under clothes, and it also leads to me not feeling secure in the cups. the shape i get also ends up being more natural and not lifted, so all around i just dont like the look on me. its a sad, sad mismatch https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Read more 288 more words
huuuge dent in the base of the cups because its too shallow. band is fine, straps are thin and a little annoying. too much room in the apex, massing gaping along the upper outer side of cups. much too wide in the wires.should've known this kind of 3 piece cup shape wouldn't work for me as it never has, but took a chance. too frustrated and tired to review further, but definitely a no.
This bra was super cute and when I saw someone selling it in this size, I was really excited to get it. I'm still new to bra sizes, but the 36F - Cleo ยป Marcie (6831) fit me really well. After reading about the Tutti Rouge Frankie I decided to try it in 34FF, which should be a sister size. The band fits my 35" rib cage really well - I suspect it is slightly stretchier than normal? The cups are fine, maybe just a hair too small, but still comfortable and wearable. The gore doesn't tack. The only bad thing about this bra is that ...the straps are really wide and kind of cut into my skin at the armpits-ish area... but it is not uncomfortable enough to get rid of the bra! Lastly I love how this looks, I would love one in minty green as well. I love that the strap sizer things are hearts https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> At the end of the day I would still recommend this bra if it fit you and you don't mind the wide-set straps.
