Band on this one was correct size but the shoulder straps were too close in. I didn't expect a sports bra, just hoped for a comfy lounge bra. this was not it. Back it went.
Saw it on Zulily for $21.95 plus shipping and no returns. I always check Amazon reviews before I buy things from Zulily whenever possible and guess what? Amazon had it cheaper with Prime shipping and free returns.
It has the look of a sports bra but that's where the resemblance ends. I wasn't exactly expecting a sports bra anyway, it just looked like a comfy lounge bra. Well, no, not comfy either. The thick zipper bulges out. It will show under clothes. Straps are not adjustable. Back it went.
This bra is too tall for my short-waisted physique.
1. The straps are not adjustable, but lined with elastic. Comfortable, but may not fit the tallest and/or shortest of bra wearers. 2. The fabric contains cotton, is soft, and easy to wear. 3. The bra is featherweight and full of stretch; great for sleeping, not-so-great for walking. Lots of bounce. 4. Wide, comfortable band; 5x3 fastener
For my purposes, I prefer the extremely comfortable Kindred Bravely French Terry Nursing Sleep Bra: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/kindred-bravely/french-terry-nursing-sleep-bra-kb-ftbsty/ and the Kindred Bravely Organic Cotton Nursing Bra. Absolutely nothing bothered me while wearing Kindred Bravely. But, the Valmont Lace Leisure is lighter and a better choice for sheltering summer temperatures combined with repressive, high humidity.
Perhaps a 34D cup would be shorter. However, I'm concerned the cup will be more narrow, too. A more narrow cup may place the seam on my breast tissue which is not a comfortable arrangement for me. But, oh, how soaring summer temps demand a lightweight bra option!
Super lightweight, 36% cotton, supportive band, tall cup.
An absolutely beautiful & sexy bra. However, it is much too small. I bought this long before I knew my correct size. Therefore, it has only been worn once and I cannot properly review this bra.
