I bought this bra from a seller at poshmark.com. So it is used. It is also a vintage model from the 1980's I am pretty sure. I bought this bra in 40DD because that's the size that seems to working for me lately and also because it is close to the style of Vanity Fair bras that I wore back in the 1980's. (which I loved!) Even though it cost me less than $20 I was bummed that it didn't fit!https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> The 40DDcups were way small , so I never even got the bra all the way on! Here's my description of this bra, Black, 4 hook underwire bra with 2 part cups. with the upper cups being lace with minimal stretch. It has 5/8" straps that are only adjustable half the length.
This bra does not fit at all, but is the closest bra I have found and I wear it everyday. It offers no lift or support and my back aches all day. I would like to use this bra to compare other bras I post listings for "fitting help"
I didn't realise this was a minimizer when I purchased it and as far as I'm concerned, it has way too much coverage. It is tight, due to its wide and powerful, 4-hook band, but it will stretch. The wires are closer to what I think I need. On the one hand, it seems too deep but at the same time I feel completely squished, almost achieving quad boob. Maybe there's some distortion of the wire which is causing the bottom of the cup to wrinkle. It definitely fits tighter than I expected, given that it's a 40 instead of a 38.
All told, if you need your girls wrangled in, this bra would serve that purpose. I don't like it and want to un-own it.
