I was super excited about this bra, because it's one of my very first sports bras, and that's because it's the first I've seen in person that has both a clasp and an underwire! Unfortunately, this particular bra hasn't worked out all that well for me.
I have probably way too many bras from Victoria's Secret, and this is definitely the most secure out of all of them. That's not really saying a whole lot, though; any activity that even resembles running or jumping still causes quite a bit of bounce. Although it's advertised as providing "maximum support", I definitely wouldn't use this for anything more strenuous than yoga. ... Wearing this during yoga was a revelation, though; it was the very first time I wasn't distracted one bit by my breasts and it was amazing enough to finally push me into considering buying better fitting bras online.
It's also really cute! Not the highest priority, I know, but definitely something that matters to me. Even in what is definitely a cup size too small, it's possibly one of the most flattering bras I've owned. As someone who automatically drifts to push-ups, this was completely mind-blowing. I think it has to do with the fact that the band is realllllly snug, and it just helped everything stay nice and lifted-up so much better than anything else I've owned.
The zip-up layer over the cups is really comfy and I think helps keep everything tucked in so well, considering it's definitely too small in the cup (I spill out of the cup a little at the top, but it's kept in check by the zipped layer). It also looks really nice, less like a bra and more like a really snug crop top. (My boyfriend was also way more into it than any of the lacy things I've ever worn for him, but that might just be because he's weird; I wouldn't expect the same reaction from other boyfriends/girlfriends/cuddlechums.)
I actually really wanted to wear this as an everyday bra, since it definitely seemed to fit my two requirements: Cute and Comfy, but half a day of wearing this knocked it out of the Comfy category.
After wearing it for a while, I realized that I was feeling pretty sore in the area against the outer end of the underwire and just along the top edge of the side; when I checked on it a little later, I saw that my skin was red and chafed. I didn't think it was that big of a deal, but a couple hours later it hurt enough that I checked again and the chafing was worse enough that I was actually worried about being rubbed raw and took the bra off. At that point, I noticed the my shoulders were also a starting to be similarly red and felt slightly sore. When I looked at it after taking it off, I realized that with this bra there are loads of seams all up against your skin. While it might not be as uncomfortable for someone with less sensitive skin, I think at least some degree of discomfort is probably inevitable.
Summed up: it's cute, and I really wish I could recommend it, but there are definitely WAY better options out there. If you fit into VS's sizes and want something cute to keep your breasts snug, but not necessarily stationary, it'll work. Just make sure to keep your receipt and watch out for chafing.
