This bra is surprisingly good for Victoria's Secret. I'm really happy I finally tried on of their 30 band bras. Band is less loose than other Victoria's Secret bras. Is open at the top edges of the cups. Great shape for tall rooted and slightly to moderately shallow.
I've had several VS bras over the years and have seen the band size pendulum swing form TTS - to oversized and super stretchy - and now back to TTS and firm. I used to wear a 32 band in the VS BBV line and now I am wearing a 34 band in the same model. The cups do seem to still run on the small side as I was 32C and now I'm a 34C in the same bra. I still have an old VS bra from the mid 90's when the bands were true and not very stretchy, in a 34B, and it still fits the same.
So this is the bra I walked out of Victoria Secret with after they properly fitted me. I went in to return 30C because i had spillage with the cups. now i realize the cups are too separate and a 30C would have probably fit me if the cups weren't so separate. There's no gapping with this bra but it overextends my underarm and irritates it. I was stupid and cut the tag off so I can't return it but I might sell/swap it or maybe I'll try adjusting it.
honestly their 30 bands are more like 28 bands from freya. there was slight gapping with this bra so I'm going to exchange it for a 30C and hopefully that won't gap. bratabase put my size as 28C/D and my ABTF size was 28D. Victoria secret measured me at 30B but I told them the PINK 30C was too small so they lady had me try a 32C in this brand/model and I fell in love. The style is much better and more comfortable than the PINK bras. the 32C obviously was too big on me, gapping and band riding up and gore not laying flat so they had me try a 30DD just to see if the band was better and it was so they decided to order a 30D so sadly I never got to try it in store.
I’ve never tried a plunge/push-up bra in a size that is close to fitting me but I am pleasantly surprised. I tend to stray towards balconette-type bras since i have broad shoulders and I like how wide the cups and straps are on those. However, these cups fully encompass my breast tissue for the most part and don’t flatten it down like other ill-fitting bras from Victoria’s Secret have.
