This 36DD Victoria Secret Super Plunge Bra origenally felt like it fit okay, but I now know that the 36 band has always been too big and this does not fit me at all now. Previously this bra felt both too big and too small at the same time, though the 34DD and 34DDD felt too small. After recently losing weight I noticed from behind that my band was up so high on my back, with the straps tightened all the way. I could also stretch the band out many inches which makes sense. The bands seem to stretch quickly over time with average wear too. At my ...heaviest weight/size I was maybe measuring 32inches around my rib cage (maybe less.) I now go for size 28 and 30 bands. My breasts would tend to bulge out of it at the top middle. I will admit the most redeeming quality of this and other Victoria Secret/Pink bras, especially the plunges, is that they have a super short gore that doesnt tend to get in the way of my tissue, and did give me a little lift. I feel the wires are too wide for me and the padded push up is too bulky. My chest is big enough now that I don't need all the extra bulkiness, I would rather have a bra that lifts me up because it is patterned well. I wish Victoria Secret Pink carried smaller bands, I would be happier to try some more of their lacier bras. This is the bra type I use to buy once upon a time that I have broken up with. Thanks! This is my absolute favorite bra! It fits me so well and makes me feel comfortable, confident, supported, and sexy. It's almost everything I've ever wanted in a bra. My only criticism is that the straps don’t hold their positions for long causing them to loosen and need to be readjusted a few times a day. I can easily get the straps fixed/replaced so I don't think of that as a major issue. I wish this bra was still available!
The padding in the bra does not allow for much projection. I doubt it would have fit comfortably even if it came in the DDD I needed. Also, because of the padding, expect the underwire to sit below the IMF on the bottom. The padding is on the bottom and outside of the cups so it pushes in as well as up. I bought this bra for and wore it to an event because I wanted lots of cleavage and had enough space in my dress for it. This is a very low coverage plunge bra so don't expect your breast tissue to stay in the cup unless it is fairly dense.
This bra is AMAZING. It was the best bra I have ever had in my life. I have very wide-set boobs, and this bra pushed them together and gave me the best cleavage I've ever had. It also gave me great support, and was super comfortable. I am so sad that they discontinued it...If anyone finds a good replacement, please don't hesitate to comment!!!
This bra looks great, but I can only wear it for short periods of time. The material conforms to the breast nicely and gives a good lift but is not at all breathable and makes the breast sweat. The sweat has nowhere to go and soon you're left feeling itchy and stinky. This the only bra in which I have had this reaction in all my years of wear. I often have to remove the bra midway through the day because the discomfort becomes intolerable.
Very comfortable. Hugs both my breasts like it was made for me. Soft, smooth under clothing. Good price until I am completely healed and settle into my size. Would recommend as a good wireless everyday bra!
The previous owner said that it had been fairly stretched and that the straps had been shortened by roughly an inch and that the band tends to ride up in the back. These may not be a problem for me because I'm simply using this bra for cosplay ideas/concepts for my girlfriend. If this bra works out, I'll try to post pictures of it in action. If not, I'll re-list it if possible.
I had to alter the size of the straps because they were wayyyyyy too long. The band rides up like crazy in the back, but that's mostly because it's too big in the band for me.
