I ordered this bra along with one in a 32D after hearing it was great for women with reconstructed breasts with implants. Unlike the 32D this one fit around my breasts but the wires were way too wide and ended up resting halfway under my armpit. I don't have breast tissue there anymore, so it just felt like I had hard, flat wires against sensitive ribs. I already knew I was not keeping it, so did not try bending the wires to see if that would make a difference. I also found the wires came up so high under my arms and dug into my armpit, which meant ... I could not put the wire right under my IMF and it left empty space at bottom of cup. Maybe my torso is too short for this bra. It almost made the bra feel too big, but it was the correct size to encapsulate my breasts. The centre gore came up high, but did not dig on me.
The wires are themselves very strong, but they are also flat and not incredibly flexible which might not be comfortable for those with bonier ribcages, even though it does have padding on it.
This is definitely a sturdy, well made bra. The fabric is high quality with nice stretch. It would have a minimizing effect on natural breast tissue due to its construction. It would would show under a lot of necklines, but would be perfectly smooth under higher necked sweaters and the like. It is not what I would call an attractive bra, but it's not horrendous either! The fabric manages to make even the nude colour stay somewhat pretty.
The band felt nice and snug for a 32. There is a nice /\ in centre bottom centre of band so that when you bend over the band does not dig into your ribs.
I know a lot of women with breast reconstructions just love this bra, but for me it just did not work out. It felt like a lot of bra to me though and looked and felt overwhelming on my petite frame. It is full coverage or full-figured rather than "full-busted".
