Wacoal is using a not-standard sizing system. I usually wear a 34H, but Wacoal sizing chart recommends 38DDD. That is a significant difference to the standard.
I am putting in effort to find a version of this bra that fits because I have an older model and it was my favorite bra. I want a new one, and I'm going to try to find what a 34H means in their custom sizing system!
This bra is a great every day bra. It is very comfortable, even when lounging on the couch. The straps are exceptionally wide and padded, and rest on the bone of the shoulder preventing irritation on the ... muscles. The new version has put padding around the wire to make it even more comfortable. It doesn't push the breasts up, it just lets them rest in a location that is natural and unobtrusive.
This bra, the 36H, has a band that is too tight for someone who generally has a 34 band. The cups are bigger than this model's 34H, so they are sizing up the cup size with the band size. The underwire is wider than the 34H's cup causing it to dig into my armpit.
The 34H was a perfect cup size, but the band intolerably too tight. A 38DDD may be the size that is expected for a standard 34H.
