Super stretchy, tall band made with single layer mesh and traditional, flocked elastic edges. No boning under the arms. Wires are pretty flexible and will easily distort if stretched too far. Cups are double layer mesh, twin darts in the bottom & inner edge, embroidery on the top layer. Embroidery isn't too thick but will show under a thin shirt. Because of its' stretchiness, the cups accommodate varying degrees of fullness. However, they are very closed because of the satin binding on the top edge. They have an inner sling along the outer edges of the cups, also made with double layer mesh. The profile is ... nicely rounded, but not a lot of lift. The gore is decently low, but not forgiving for close-set breasts. The straps are closely aligned above the apex, away from the armpits (thank goodness!). They're also softly flocked on the underside.
Bottom line: cups are more projected than what the photo on Amazon appeared. But the fit will be tricky, unless you're short rooted and/or very lean. More of lounge bra. My guess is it would be very comfortable once broken in...ie, washed & worn a few times. But I also fear the band would stretch out too quickly, since when I tried it on it immediately stretched 4-5" behind my back while already on the closest set of hooks.
Too bad it's not available on Amazon with a 30" band, to try a sister size.
