I would prefer to wear a wire free bra, and at smaller back and larger cup sizes your choices are limited. I am actually closer to a 32, but I was advised to go up a band size in this bra. I originally ordered it in a 34DD - which was definitely too small - so I ordered the 34DDD, which fit. It was never perfect - the straps don't adjust short enough for short people (5'0"), and the straps were a little far apart. I never got much separation, but my boobs are close together, so that's not a surprise. But then there are the bones. This ... bra has boning in the sides, and while I understand that they may be needed for structure, they dig in at the bottom and leave bruises. They aren't so bad in the morning, but by the mid-afternoon you want take it off. There are nice features as well - the fabric is very soft, there is some but not too much foam in the cups for modesty, and it has a decent shape.
So then I lost some weight and this bra got to be too big. I put it away for a year or two, during which time I wore the same bra in 34DD. And then I gained back some weight, so I got it out again. I have found I can get the most comfortable fit on the tightest hook, though there is some gapping under the arms, and I wonder how much of that is from it being stretched out. The bones have not improved with age. They still hurt progressively as the day goes on, and I am currently wearing this bra because it fits better than anything else I have right now. I expect it to be retired again as soon as I get some new bras.
