This bra is incredibly beautiful, and it gives me very dramatic cleavage. Since it doesn't hurt me anywhere, there is pretty much no chance I'm getting rid of this bra. That said, it doesn't actually fit. I need a lot of projection in the bottom of the cups, and this one is has thick padding right where I am most full, so my breasts push it forward -- the gore leans away from my chest at a pretty sharp angle. Luckily, the cup is structured enough that it doesn't seem to warp in any way, just angle forward, which makes a cup that would ...be too shallow for me almost okay. Not too long ago, I would have been convinced this bra fit me perfectly, simply because it doesn't stab me anywhere (woo hoo!), but the cups are really too small and the band only fits because it is soooooo stretchy, as are the wings, which makes me wonder how long the bra will last. My soft (I wouldn't say floppy, but...) breasts can shape themselves to the cups once they push them forward, though, and the effect is really pretty impressive. So, as a bra that fits, it is a no-go, but as a bra for special occasions, it is an absolute winner - the embroidery is gorgeous and the base color (a deep purplish wine) feels very sophisticated and looks great against my skin. I love this poorly-fitting bra. Read more 142 more words
This is a nice bra. The cup is smooth with a pretty lace overlay, but the trim at top of cup is thick enough to be seen through a thin t-shirt. A great bra but not a t-shirt bra, in my opinion.
I like the bandless arched center and shorter gore. But the wings are much too high for my short frame. Slight orange-in-glass effect for my pendulous breasts.
Good things: - reasonably comfortable, and pretty. - The lace is soft. Not great: - Lace scallops: I'm squishy around the midsection these days, and will note that the lace scallops around the band tend to roll up - not my fave feature. - Stretches: I've had the bra for over a year, and it has stretched out noticeably. (I only hand-wash fwiw). Also consider: - Not smooth under thin fabrics - Not going to hide your nipples, if you're concerned about "high beams," this is an issue
Because I'm not a fan of mountainous padding, this bra appealed to me. It lifts my breasts off the wires which is significantly more comfortable than sitting on the wires. The gore doesn't tack, but I may be able to remedy that fit issue by overlapping the gore. The band is too big, but that is an easy alteration, too.
This asymmetrical embroidery combined with subtle padding and a peached, microfiber fabric inside each cup makes this bra unforgettable.
SO soft. Let me type that again. Incredibly soft. Wow. Low gore. Wide, supportive band: the most comfortable I've ever experienced. Limited stretch straps. 3x3 fasteners.... If you've read my other reviews, you know I'm in love.
The lining is thin, but sufficient for nipple armour and nipple coverage. The band is supportive and nearly unnoticeable while wearing. The gore is low enough that the most-often-tethered-portions of my breast are wire-free and pain-free. We all deserve pain-free bras!!
The gore is too wide at the base, but this design allows an easy alteration. However, before I add stitches to the gore, I will purchase a 36DDD. Through much trial and ...error, I know a bra must look a bit large before I narrow a gore. Otherwise, when all my breast can settle in the cup, what once "fit" is suddenly, uncomfortably small.
The lift is unremarkable and this bra is best suited for the shallow-average community with less close-set, less center-full breasts than I have. However, this is very comfortable, very minimalistic, and provides a round shape under thin knits. I'll take two https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
I bought this bra a year ago, before I found my true bra size, and I've only worn it the once. I needed a strapless bra to wear under a bridesmaid dress. This was the only strapless bra I could find in anything near my size. Or rather, what I thought my size was. Because this bra was so ridiculously off, it's difficult to review. If my dress hadn't been tight enough to stop it, this bra would have slipped down around my waist during the wedding ceremony. But the band is a 36 when I needed a 30. And the cups were DD instead of GG, so they didn't fit either and helped push the bra down. If you can get this bra in the right size, I think it would be a great strapless bra. It's lined in silicone strips along the band and around the cups (even the top of the cups). It also has multiway straps that can be worn in several different ways (regular, crossed in back, halter, single strap, etc).
I acquired this bra years ago, before I found my true size. It's a 36DD; I'm a 30H. Obviously, it's not going to fit well. The band is very loose, so there's not much support. The whole bra is basically one piece of soft, stretchy fabric. It has a racerback and a plastic clasp in front, between the breasts. I use this bra as a sleep bra, and I sometimes wear it when I'm on my period and other bras feel uncomfortable. Because the back is all fabric, it's very comfortable to lie down in, and it offers its best support when I'm not moving around. I've had this bra at least five years, and it is still in great condition.
Stretchy lace cups adjust at those times of the month where my breasts are a little bigger/smaller than usual. The unlined cups are a bit see-through so depending the situation, I may wear my Wacoal no-peek liners. Excellent under t-shirts!
Bra has a very pretty appearance, with a lacy, patterned cup that continues around the wings to the closure. Unlined cup has side slings to bring the breasts forward. Higher center gore brings everything higher and to the front.
Super comfortable Wacoal bra. I love the spacer fabric and the smooth cup. The underbra decoration is pretty without annoying. Fantastic every day bra.
I found that the straps on this bra turned in during the day, which probably could have been prevented by tightening the straps. I did not love the padded, lined cup - just not my style!
This is a full coverage bra that provides a rounded shape. I'm finding the center gore too high for comfort, and the all over coverage with thick straps doesn't lend itself to tanks or low cut shirts. Smooth cup disappears under thin shirts.
I'm so glad you found something to love about it :-) :-) The color and embroidery are amazing!!
