cups are too shallow for my shape, but because it's a sports bra I can get away with it. It's currently one cup size too small so wearing it for a long stretch is uncomfortable. The strip of bias tape along the bottom of the band is uncomfortable and can dig in and roll up. Not sure if have the right size cup would fix this issue. I wear this for higher impact activities and it works well.
This bra is has very full cups, but is very comfortable. The straps and band are very secure, the gore tacks nicely. I can wear this all day and not want to even take it off. Not real cute, but still great.
This one is two years old, got professionally fitted and this was the only one she could fit. I am narrow projection very wide and the band is screaming tight.
the straps are way too short for me at their longest setting. Wacoals are generally too shallow for me, and this is no exception. Because it's a sports bra, I'm able to wear it occasionally but not for long stretches of time. It has moderate support but I wouldn't run in it.
This bra supports me well and keeps me from having any spillage over the top (the 4 boob look) when I bend over and stand back up, which is usually one of the main issues I have with a bra. The gore placement does stick out and can be seen poking up in some shirts. Even though the band fits well, I will say that this bra stretches quite a bit with wear; it's snug when I put it on in the morning but I end up having to pull it down in the back some throughout the day. I do like that I feel that all of my breast tissue is contained inside of this bra. Oh and it's comfortable. đđ
Wacoal is using a not-standard sizing system. I usually wear a 34H, but Wacoal sizing chart recommends 38DDD. That is a significant difference to the standard.
I am putting in effort to find a version of this bra that fits because I have an older model and it was my favorite bra. I want a new one, and I'm going to try to find what a 34H means in their custom sizing system!
This bra is a great every day bra. It is very comfortable, even when lounging on the couch. The straps are exceptionally wide and padded, and rest on the bone of the shoulder preventing irritation on the ...muscles. The new version has put padding around the wire to make it even more comfortable. It doesn't push the breasts up, it just lets them rest in a location that is natural and unobtrusive.
This bra, the 36H, has a band that is too tight for someone who generally has a 34 band. The cups are bigger than this model's 34H, so they are sizing up the cup size with the band size. The underwire is wider than the 34H's cup causing it to dig into my armpit.
The 34H was a perfect cup size, but the band intolerably too tight. A 38DDD may be the size that is expected for a standard 34H. Read more 113 more words
This bra is built like a lot of upper cup size American brasâdeceptively wide wires and a really thick bandâand I would literally have never realized the cup volume is so much smaller than my other bras.
This bra feels like it fits because it compresses so tightly that you can't tellâthe cups come up basically to my throat, which means there's no way for the tops to spill, the gore is a mile high, and the straps are like leather belts. It acts like a sports bra, and while it did improve my posture notably, it really does not fit. It smashes my breast tissue up against my chest and shapes me like a melting hershey's kiss.
I'm really happy to have liberated myself from thinking this bra was doing me any favors!
I loved this bra in the store, but then went on a trip, gained weight and never ended up taking the tags off. Thin, but silky smooth material, disappears under your tshirt.
This model has been my go to bra for the past 6 years. Unless I'm already in pain and especially sensitive to the straps digging in, it's a very comfortable bra. And I love the thick padded straps. But seeing a photograph of myself wearing this bra under clothes recently made me realize how unflattering it is on me and how bad it is for my shape. It just flattens me and pushes my breast tissue down and out to the sides. I get the east-west problem. There is no gaping, and the fabric on top doesn't wrinkle. It just looks odd and flat.
There is also extra ...space in the side fabric, but the G cup I have tried in this model is too small.
This bra runs a bit snug in the band. It does stretch quite a bit, but this is an older bra that I've had for a very long time. At least now it's too large for me in the band. In the cups, it runs at least 2-3 cup sizes larger than most US H cups and UK FF cups I have tried.
It is also cut extremely high, and I can't wear it with most of my shirts. It comes nearly up to my neck.
This bra is part of the reason I've been reluctant to purchase soft bras. I imagine that everything wrong with this bra on me would be exacerbated in a bra with no underwire. I still haven't found anything that fits very well, though, so I will need to continue using it every now and then until I do. Read more 163 more words
This is a great, every day smooth cup bra. This bra has minimal decoration, with just a little lace on the wings. Straps are convertible from standard to cross strap. Cups are lightly lined but not padded.
What a revelation. I've only had two bras that ever fit me perfectly, and this is one of them (the other was a nursing bra)--because the sizing help here and at the Sophisticated Pair FINALLY helped me figure out my correct size. It's still new, so I can only hope it holds up well after time, but wow. Wow. My girls are proud, high, locked and loaded, but this is still a really comfortable bra.
Okay: Band, wire width, side wing height and construction Not okay: Cup too tall, apex too high, center gore too high and digs, armhole cuts my arms off
Construction seemed sturdy. I think Wacoal is pretty good at construction. It just seems that most of their bras are made for someone who is taller and who has taller boobs.
(Note: Tried on in a fitting room, so the only measurements I took were wire width and separation. I had to guess at the wire length so that bratabase would let me enter the width.)
Despite the uncomfortable fabric, the poking my armpit, and maybe the cups being a smidgen too small, I'll keep this one. It's not an everyday bra; the lace does show through shirts a little bit, and it's not terribly comfortable, but true to the name, it'll be a 'dress up' bra. Since plunges don't work with me, I'll just wear a lacy full coverage like this with my dark dresses. It's a sheer bra, but thanks to the lace being a distraction I don't think show-through is that bad. It's lined on the lower part of the cup and side with a sheer, nude fabric that helps hide the nipple. The gore is also very close most of the way down, which is good for my close-set boobs. Straps are fully adjustable, and the wire is stiff. I might pad underwires under the arm if wearing it for long becomes too pokey, which I suspect it might.
It definitely has full coverage. I'm short and the sides do come up to my armpits, however the wire in them does not come up as high and so I'm not poked. I'd say it fits "true to size" that is I measure 36 underbust, 44 bust, and come out to 36H US, which is exactly this size. I tried the 38G and 36G just in case, and in both cases the center gore did not rest against my sternum comfortably like this size does. I don't like how round it makes my boobs look. It feels like it minimizes and flattens me out. The cups are stretchy. They completely cover my boobs, which feels like too much since I'm so short. But overall I feel very secure in this bra.

What I noticed about this bra is that it's very forgiving- that is, I can still wear it without any quadboob even though my measurements have changed and I'm now wearing 34H-32J UK sizes. It is too small for me, but so full coverage and minimizing that you can't really tell. So I'd say this one isn't the best for figuring out your size if you plan on ordering it for that, but there's a good likelihood it'll be wearable even if it doesn't fit.
Bad fit for me; band too big & cups too small. (I'm learning, though!) I can't say for certain since this is the wrong size but it doesn't seem like a comfortable bra. The underwires JAB me in the sternum; in a seriously painful way that even my other too small bras do not. The band is also uncomfortable; too thin & flimsy elastic that cuts in. Add in mumsy styling & a high price tag and I can't say I'm tempted to look for a Wacoal in the correct size.
