I remembered I loved this bra, but I forgot how MUCH I love this bra. I had a wonderful lilac on purple that was eaten by the same dog rubbing her head against my legs as I take pictures of this one. She was a nervous new puppy then, but I still don't leave any lacy things where she can get to them! This is the brand new color that just came in to my local store, a kind of mysterious blue/purple that shifts depending on the light. The detailing on this is great, from the bottom of the band to the wings all in lacy patterns. Its ...not surprising how this model sticks around! In this colorway the contract color is a silvery lurex. The fit is soft and light once you pull yourself into the stretchy stretchy cups and totally perfect for my evenly full breasts, although, yes, I probably should have done a 36. I know the 36DDD definitely does not fit, though, unlike the Wacoal Retro Chic Full Figure Underwire Bra (855186) and the Wacoal Spot On Underwire Bra (855185) the cups are too tight (having previously tried it). So I would have to try a G. Next color! Read more 101 more words
It's just weird. The cups are strangely placed and seem too big, but I think it's because they are just too far apart despite this being a front fastening bra. My boobs don't fill the bottom of the cup but are bulging out the top no matter what I do. No likey. The band width feels fine.
The band size fits great. It doesn't ride up, and support wise its an 8 out of 10. It is very comfortable, and cup material doesn't chafe or irritate skin. They only down side are the wires are a little long. They tend to poke under the arms. As fit goes, since I have very large high profile implants (more projection than width), the wires are about 1.5 cm too wide for me, and cup depth isn't enough. This would probably be great for those with natural breasts.
I wish this bra came in a 38DDD/F. I know it stretches out quite a bit, even in the knit fabric cup, though, so I keep buying them in 38DD and wearing until they stretch out. Then they are really comfy on me. I even sleep in these when they're well "broken-in." Front closure is nice, but means it needs to fit very tightly when new, as there are no adjustments. Racerback is nice under racer tees, but means the straps are close in on your shoulders. They will show on wider neckline shirts. Nice wide "gore." There's actually no fabric gore, as it's a single front closure clip. The measurements I made were on a well worn stretched out one.
