This was my first proper fitting bra and if it didn't need to be washed I would never take it off.
I have somewhat pendulous breasts and it was very easy to fit all of my tissue into the cups. At first it didn't look/feel as if my breasts would fill the cups, but after swooping and scooping all of the cup is filled up perfectly!
It has just enough width on the wings/band to keep everything controlled and comfortable. The inside lining of each cup is very soft, the gore tacks firmly but comfortably, and the full coverage of each cup is very reassuring and supportive.
This is the worst fit I've ever had from Wacoal. The frame of the bra is huge, the center core felt like it was at my chin, & the shape of the cups was very unnatural. The center tilted outward as it does when the cup is too small, yet this cup was too large.
One of the most comfy bras ever. The underwires are wrapped in foam, which extends around the sides of the cups, keeping things front & center & cushioning the wires even further. Bliss! The fabric is silky & stretchy, but very supportive; it molds to your body. The only thing I dislike about this style is that the wires come up higher than I prefer, both in the center gore & under the arms.
Good support for a wireless bra. The fabric is a unique flat stretch lace that will not show even under clingy T-shirt fabric; it is very cool in summer & reasonably comfy, but I'm ready to take it off at the end of an 8 hour day - by then it's starting to feel scratchy. The straps are totally rigid, so the only stretch comes from where they join the band, which is also made of the same flat lace fabric. I would have liked more stretch in the strap as this does cause it to ride up slightly in the back over the day.
The shape it gives is very rounded & slightly flattened, but not so much as with a minimizer.
I have worn this razer bra in a 38D and loved the fit. However, now that I've gained weight and now am a 38F (uk) the only problem i had was the wire length is to long for me. When i lose weight i will definitely reevaluate it. It's a wonderful bra but didn't like the wire length on the bigger size.
The 38DDD - Wacoal » Basic Beauty T-shirt Spacer Bra (853192) is my most comfortable bra but it really doesn't fit at all. It is very clearly not my size and only gives minimal support. Nevertheless, it is the bra I currently wear most frequently.
The bra straps are a little scratchy and I wish they were a little wider. When raising arms above my head, the straps feel too tight on loosest setting.
It's a soft cup so it does give a bit of a pointy profile. But I feel more lifted than when wearing a molded cup. I can fit my hand under the band easily, but somehow it still feels tight (probably my high belly). Worn with an extender feels more comfortable.
It is very sheer. I can peep ma nips along the seam of the cups.
The sides or wings are lower than my Cacique Smooth Balconette 44DDD, and the boning ...is thinner so it doesn't irritate my underarms. However the edge of the fabric does a bit.
Overall, I'd say this a much better fit than my previous bra. I fill the cups completely, the gore tacks, and all of my boob fat is encapsulated in cone form. (EDIT: It feels like the wire is resting on my fat at the outers of the cup. I've swooped and scooped all I can. The top of the wires toward the armpit bow out and poke my arms. I think I might need to go up a cup size or two...)
I'm curious to know how durable this bra will be. Read more 108 more words
Purchased when I was just starting to figure out that 40D was not in fact my actual size (boob hats!), this is nonetheless a very nice bra. Underwires are a little narrow for me and the gore a bit too wide, but I do have a terrible time finding a contour bra that agrees with my fairly soft breast tissue, so I still wear this one. I'd like to find it (or a near cousin) in a 38G.
*edit 8/26/16*. Turns out that the underwires aren't too narrow at all - the cups are not deep enough and I'm squishing out on the sides. It's as attractive as it sounds!
This is a really beautiful bra and very comfortable. It definitely doesn't fit though. I bought this after getting fitted at Nordstrom before I had really figured out my size. The fitter sized me at a 36F (UK). Since this bra only goes up to DDD and the 36 band ran really firm I sister sized to a 38DDD. The gore is no where near tacking which the fitter, though the fitter said it wasn't supposed to (which I seriously doubt). It gives me a somewhat conical shape and is pretty full coverage.
I needed a strapless bra, and this is what I found at Nordie's. It does the job, although the edges are lined with some kind of silicone rubber or something to keep it from slipping down, which can be a little uncomfortable. It feels like a heavy-duty bra, because the band is very firm and it has 4 hooks.
This, along with the Wacoal Alluring bra, I purchased after getting a fitting (kind of against my will) at Nordstrom. It's okay, I wish the gore tacked better, but it's got a pretty pattern on it, and I think some portion of the proceeds from sales of this bra get donated to charity for breast cancer? I didn't see "Susan G Komen" anywhere on the tags when I purchased it, so I'm pretty sure whatever that donated amount was, it went to a good cause.
This is one of my better-fitting bras, although after several hours of wear, it starts to itch at the ends of the wires. It makes my boobs look nice, though.
Love this bra! This is the most comfortable bra I've ever been able to find. It fits like a well loved tshirt, and I have no problem wearing it all day long. I just wish it was a little cheaper, then I could all the colors.
My cup size has increased since I bought this bra, but it's continued to fit very well. Any changes in fit are almost imperceptible. For one thing, it's cut so high that it's almost to my clavicle (or at least it feels that way when I'm trying to figure out which bra to wear with a low-cut shirt). For another, the cups are pretty stretchy. The band is not, though, and the underwire is sturdy. "Sturdy" is a great way to describe this bra all around, really - it's got an almost industrial feel to it. It's very comfortable, though, and because the cups are seamless it goes well under thin shirts - high-cut ones, at least.
This was the "before" bra. It was the largest cup size I could find in store where it looked like it covered my boobs but as you can guess it was a terrible fit! The gore does not lie flat, The band rides up and the straps fall down. It appears to fit (other than the ginormous band) before I s&s, but then I have major major quad boob.
I am currently sized into a 38FF UK size now but am losing weight and playing the "buy a million bras and see which actually fit game!"
Very comfortable, no poking. Straps are wide enough to stay put but not too wide. Gives the girls a little boost where they need it most. Originally tried on a 38DD (my usual fit) and it gave me a small amount of quadboob. I recommend going up one cup size.
Very comfortable, soft material, fits snugly but doesn't dig in. The cup lies flat against my chest but it comes up pretty high so low cut shirts (v-necks, etc) are not an option with the bra. The straps fit at maximum length, shorter and they dig into my shoulders.
CeltCurls ,your review encouraged me to try this very comfy bra. Thank you, sincerely!!
