Fits well, but the underwire behind on the outside was more of a hindrance than I expected. It showed through T-shirts. I even tried wearing it inside out and that was better, the inside is seamless. Encompassed my breasts well. Without the underwire coming so high, and something to cover the nipples it would have been a great T shirt bra. I liked the 4 hooks and stretchy back band.
I took a change during the FigLeaves sale and I am so glad I did - I adore this bra. The cups are a perfect G and it's a gorgeous color - more green, please! The straps are on the shorter end, but I have low, large breasts. The band was surprisingly tight - It felt like it was EXACTLY my ribcage. (If you are really particular you may want to go up a size in band/down in cup, or make sure you can try it on or return without hassle. I expect the band will not be an issue.) It was slightly uncomfortable but something I know will stretch as the band has very tight, strong stretch. It's so supportive it acts like a lined, shaped cup. Everything about this bra is gorgeous. Below the lace everything is finely and subtly embroidered. Comfort is pretty great, but I think it will be better once I wear it more.
This is my first Wacoal in the correct size! I think it's a really pretty style, love the rounded shape from the diagonal seam - my boobs are so squishy that a horizontal seam gives me that attractive "left too long in the mammogram machine" look. If it were a perfect bra, I'd have the tiniest bit more room at the top edge of the cups. This bra is brand new and there's a thin strip of clear elastic along the top edge, it will probably relax a little with some wear. I feel like it has good support; there's a fair amount of coverage in this cup but it doesn't come up too high under the arms. I'd buy it again!
I really like this bra for the most part. It is super comfortable, I have no issues with the gore, and I forget I'm wearing it. I think it gives me really good support, though I wish it lifted a little more, and I wish it was less minimizing. Overall would probably buy again.
Comfortable but produces an unfortunate shape. It seems to pull the breasts down and to the outside. The effect is not flattering at all and seems to emphasize the effect of gravity. It has firm support but lacks any pleasing profile. Very unfortunate because it is very comfortable
Not sure if this bra fits correctly. I had to size up in the band due to being really firm I thinks it's too much coverage. Not sure if the underwires fit correctly
No "lift" in this one, is this what a minimizer feels like? Kind of flattened me out. Might be a cupsize too small though. No real support, felt like a lid on a pot.
A supportive, tailored bra for all-day wear, if you don't mind a fairly tall and narrow gore.
The folks at Wacoal have clearly put a lot of thought into engineering this bra to have precisely the right materials in the right places for a supportive but lightweight everyday bra. I particularly like the choice of two fabrics in the side-slings, no-stretch mesh covered with softer jersey, which really does seem to eliminate east-west spreading of the breast tissue. The choice of a two-layered mesh at the top of the cup is also inspired, giving just enough stretch to accommodate unevenness and yet provide some support. The top-edge elastic is ...the best I've seen, soft but with great recovery. The angled long seam in the cup gives an uplifted shape that is not nearly as pointy as the otherwise similar Retro Chic.
My quibble is that the gore becomes very tall and narrow in my size, and so I don't get a firm tack at the sternum -- my breasts are too wide-set for that. The soft tack doesn't ruin the comfort of the bra, though. Read more 77 more words
I am very disappointed with this bra. Based on several calculations I should be wearing a 38G. The band on the looses hook seems a little too loose, the cup seems too small. It does not feel comfortable and I think it is because of the fit. I am wondering if I should go up to a 38GG or 38H. The 38G Soma I have feels comfortable but I think the cup is a little too small also. The cup on this Wacoal is really too small.
This bra will definitely hold your girls in place. It felt a bit weird the first few times I wore it due to the underwires being on the outside. Unfortunately, this bra doesn't fit me very well as the cups are several sizes too small for me.

This gives an excellent round shape with slight forward projection. However, I do need a smaller band and about two cup sizes larger, which does not exist. I really wish Wacoal would make cups up to I-J.
By far my best fitting bra overall. Sad that I now have an underwire poking out after about 2 years, but wanted to measure for Bratabase before retiring it. I will be buying more of this one. No poking, gore totally flat in all postures.
This one fits me really well. No poking at my armpits, and the gore isn't too tall. The cup shape is pretty perfect for me. The lace at the bottom sits nice and flat without rolling, and no wrinkles at base of cup. It's really pretty, and I will be buying in other colors! New bra, so don't know about stretching out over time yet.
The cup fits really well, and I really like the shape. The problem is the band (it's an older bra- I've lost weight). It was a size too big when I bought it, and it's really too big now. My boobs slip around in it because it's just not sized right anymore. When I first got it, it wasn't a perfect fit, but it was very comfortable, and made the girls look AMAZING. It is definitely a full cup and the tops come quite high- it shows under almost any shirt that isn't crew neck.
This is one of the first bras I bought after learning my proper bra size. The gore comes up very high on the chest and the cup comes up high on the straps, making a very full-coverage bra. This also means that the cup creates a very good shape making this a great-looking bra (while on). The color is vivid, the straps are solid, and the lace is good-quality. The fabric encasing the underwire even managed to withstand a few nibbles from my German Shepherd!
LOL! When adding this entry to bratabase, I found out this is supposed to be a demi bra.
= It's made for tall people. = The band runs very snug. I think Wacoal follows the +4 rule. = Cup fit (snugly) on the bottom. Full-flappy gaping on top. Of the demi cup. Which ran higher than my breast tissue. =Wire seemed okay. I think. It didn't seem to pull out of shape, but I only had the thing on for a few minutes.
(Sorry no measurements. Didn't have my tape measure with me.)
I found this band tight, too. And, the fuchsia color was incredible. So glad you found a beautiful, comfortable bra!!
