The smooth black fabric is sexy; it catches the light, giving it a sheen. The cups are three-part two-seam half-cups and perfect in projection, width, and volume for me. The band is a little too snug around my lower ribcage which has virtually the same circumference as my underbust (26 snug). So this band is better constructed for at least somewhat tapered ribcages as the bottom band elastic is a little shorter than the top one. I wore this without an extender for an hour and couldn't breathe comfortably because of this. Because I'll need to get a 5-hook extender, I'll probably never grab this bra.
First off, this bra has a very tight band. I listed the stretched band length as 25", but after stretching past 24", I can detect some warping in the wire. My snug rib cage measurement is 25", so this feels almost too tight for me. I don't have any discomfort and it isn't hard to take a deep breath or anything, but I certainly don't forget I'm wearing it. And the fact that it's a longline somehow makes it more obvious. I'd say this fits more like a 24J than a 26HH. The cups are more true to size. I get quad boob on my larger side with this bra, but it fits my smaller breast almost perfectly (just a smidge too snug). The straps are comfortable and easy to adjust and it really is a pretty bra.
Way too tight for me even when my ribcage actually measured 26 inches. I should have known it would be - black fabric is often quite firm - but I couldn't resist the sale Wellfitting was having, and this was the closest to my size that they had in stock. Next time I'll know better.
I can't accurately judge the fit of the cups because of the tight band. When I tried it on with three two-hook extenders, the elastic accents on the edges of the cups just kind of floated instead of lying flat. Not sure if this was a fit issue or a construction issue.
How would you say this fits in the cups compared to the 60H Blue Spring we both tried. Looks like it has more depth, according to the measurements?
