I usually wear 28FF or 28F in other brands (Curvy Kate, Panache, Cleo, Freya,...) so deciding my size was not easy. But I saw this blog post http://www.venusianglow.com/search?q=wiesmann and got some information there.
It says in the tags that the size is G cup, then the band sizes are separately (EU 65, UK30, etc). But this most definitely is a EU G-cup, not a UK one!!! Sizing goes in amazon.co.uk where I ordered the bra, like this: 65D, 65E, 65F, 65G. So there are no double letters.
The band feels okay for me now. I think I could get away with it for a while, but would ...probably have to alter it in some point. 60/28 bands are not available, that´s why I ordered 65/30.
The bra has removable straps!! I like that. There is no silicone ribbon to hold the bra up so strapless wouldn´t be an option, but you could wear it as a halter neck or racer back. Straps adjust all the way. They are positioned very far in the armpits, just like in EM bras, so beware.
Unfortunately this bra does not fit me. I get wrinkles on bottom of cups, especially near the armpit area. I think it is because the wires are a tad too wide or just the wrong shape for me. I tend to need normal / wide wires, and it usually is not a problem if they are a little too wide. But this bra has the longest wires I have ever seen in my size range, they are 28 cm long! I think they might be a little too U-shaped for me... They come quite high both in the center and under armpits. They don´t poke me and are very comfortable though. The separation between boobs is quite wide, I measured 3cm between cups.
The cups have very round shape which I love! I´m not sure if I should try one cup smaller, 65F. If it had narrower wires it might work, but then again, the U-shape could be just as bad. And I might get quadboob. I think I won´t try because shipping of this bra took forever, 3 weeks that is. I live in EU and it was sent from UK as a registered letter, so I don´t get it! They dispatched it very quickly after I ordered, so why does it take so long to get here?!?
I ordered matching brief in L / UK12. The sizing is odd, because usually European M is concidered UK12. Anyway, the brief was tight on me. I would need it in 1 size bigger although I usually wear Eu M / UK12.
I´m sorry I don´t have photos, but I have no camera right now! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I am so confused by this bra. I thought Polish bras were much narrower and deeper in the cups than UK bras? This sheer navy blue lace half cup fits great. Are my roots not as wide as I thought? Are my boobs deeper than I believed? Looking at the measurements, I'm not sure what to think.
The 65G is roughly equivalent to a UK 30F. Since I start with 30F when trying on bras, that's what I ordered. This bra is made of sheer lace mesh cups, embroidered, with a crystal decoration at the center. I also got the matching panties, which has the same embroidered lace mesh ...at the front sides. I find the materials really pretty and sexy, though I know some people are tired of lace and embroidery in lingerie.
The straps are convertible, which I didn't realize when I bought it. Unlike my Ewa Michalak Pl Onyx's straps, the Skarlet's are VERY tightly anchored in back. I couldn't, in fact, remove them. The straps do detach in the front without too much effort. I think the combination of tight back connections and reasonably firm connections in front are better than the Onyx's. The connection points in the Onyx are so loose that the straps pop off when I wear it cross-back style, at least when I take off my jacket or lean sideways to get something out of my car's glove box. I no longer wear the Onyx cross-back style, which unfortunately was what I needed.
The downside for me with this bra is that, like 95% of the bras that fit my 30F boobs, the bra covers too much of my chest. I am extremely petite except for my shoulders and bust. I don't mind having some bras that are full coverage on me, even if they're supposed to be less than full coverage, but I do want some skimpy bras, too. Half cup bras are supposed to be low coverage and barely cover the nipple/aerola region. I know my nipples and aerolas are small, but this half cup seems like it could cover my aerolas if they were three times as big. Read more 248 more words
