This is probably many people's dream bra. Insanely low gore. Wonderfully close set straps. Cup feels like it would fit best on a projected narrow breast about 4.5" wide, but carries enough even volume that my 10" something wide breasts are doin ok. Not the worst for side-full folks, but as always could use more space in the outer cup. Upper cup stretches from 7.5" to 8" at strap to gore.
*sigh* the band is 24" long, this stretches just to 33". Arianna's cup width is 6" from wire's arm to arm across, 8.25" perimeter on top. 9" wide across center of the ...cup. A bit flattening along my extra full sides & prone to digging in on top so I consider it a bit small personally, but those with narrow roots and 'long' breasts may fit true to size?
The straps are unusually short. Only 13" long when let completely out. Otherwise fits a bit like Cleo with a stretchy band. Decent projection immediately from the wire through apex, resistant plunge wire 1-2" high at gore, 4" tall at armscye. Slightly angled band, not classically tilted for conical ribs but definitely not flat-drafted either. While the gore is low and proportionate, the cups were somehow much too far apart for my very wide breasts (large base, not wide-set). If someone is closer set and needs this style, darting out the bottom of the gore to bring the cups together could be viable solution (would possibly shorten outer sides as well).
Not the highest quality material or finishing, but incredibly smooth & soft mesh, elastics and wire channeling. Would probably do some hard time in the rotation, lace feels like it will pill & snag if not treated very delicately.
Like many sheer bras. this is one of those wonders where I can watch exactly what is going to hell in this handbasket, right where it starts. Namely my breast is pushed directly upward into armpit, some of it immediately quads back down into itself at the bottom of the cup, outer boobs flattens into a large horizontal semi-circle, vertically appears to be a strong arrow or a cone, which widens the depth need at least 2 inches. Any space that should have been afforded by low gore and plunge styling is held off by the bizarrely constricting upper panel causing a nasty fat-flap to develop where inner breasts roll over the top of the inner wires at gore.
I'm a super wide & short 28F/FF/G/GG/H who knows wtf. My best fits are around 32E/F/FF polish with bands chopped in half currently. This website lied about the sizing of this bra. These are sold in dress sizes (4-18) and I'd picked a size 10. Somehow even though the option to offer up this info is in the 'new bra' section the site doesn't let you actually record that.
It's a very stretchy unsupportive bra, doesn't fit me at all & I gave it to my youngest kid whose a lot bigger than I am (32G/GG?) and likes the pattern as well as it's weirdly ...loose utra stretchy fabric leaving 'growing room'. They also appreciate the band space & supersoft straps. We're not thrilled with the huge armpits or how low cut this thing is though. Who needs to see that much of our side boob or 90% of the upper breast? Doesn't feel supportive as a sports garment at all, I'd say this bra was actually made for 'oopsies', reveals, dating, hookups or 'fishing' for guys attention in public, which is fine since it's really cute in a way if you're into that kind of thing.
Keep in mind though it's well made, the ways that it's sewn together may be irritating or feel bulky around the seams. I get hives and reactions all the time which makes me more sensitive to some fabrics and sewing styles, but this wasn't especially bothersome in the usual places I suffer. The fact that kid is into it & won't take it off, means it's passed the 'crappy band' dealbreaker they have about lumpy itchy seams. But their extra shirts and zipped all the way up hoodies say this minimal cup height leaves something to be desired. Read more 192 more words
This was super frustrating. I ordered 32dd and 32e. 32dd was too small - cups too short -- but 32e fits great. Unfortunately, the 32e had a weird flaw where two of the decorative straps in the center were so long as to not lie flat. They bunch up and wrinkle and don't look nice. 32dd does not have that problem. I figured it was one defective bra. So I ordered another 32e. Which has the same exact problem as the first one. All three got returned.
Everything else about this bra is delightful. It's beautiful, comfortable, flattering... I recommend it highly -- I guess if you wear 32dd, or maybe any size but 32e?
This was cheap but not comfortable for daily wear. Bra is pretty shallow, I get orange-in-a-glass. The dye does not hold fast but bleeds badly when washing: do not wash this with your other bras unless you want them to turn blue!
