My shape: full on bottom, soft tissue, narrow shoulders/roots. Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this bra (and many others!) to try on! Appearance and fit: This bra is very, very stretchy. I could probably have pulled the band even farther when I was measuring the stretched band, but I didn't want to risk messing up the bra. The material is a soft, stretchy, smooth fabric, with pale pink stripes all along the bottom of the cup and the band. The tops of the cups are a matching pink and white spiral design made of lace. There's a little pink rosette at the top of the gore. Though this bra "technically" fits me, it's much too stretchy for my liking. I have gaping at the top and a little space at the bottom of the cups. The shape it gives me is more spread out than I prefer. This would be a really comfortable summer bra, as it's so smooth and unlined. It's a shame it doesn't fit me, because I love pink bras!
YA 32G I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
YA1792 (Candy Striper) is a pink and white micro striped unpadded balcony bra.
The band is 22.6” but stretches to a max of 39”, so very stretchy. It has 2 hooks and 3 rows of eye loops.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 11”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. ... This measurement is: 15”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.
This bra is too big for me. This is probably the biggest 34G I've tried so far. I'd say it's more like a 34H. The apex of the cup is too wide and the cups are too far apart. The center gore gets smooshed together. The bottom of the cup is too shallow. The cups can wrinkle on days when my boobs are less full. I am readjusting and swooping and scooping them back in every time I go to use the rest room to try and remedy this. The bra also gives a somewhat pointy look. Not a fan of this one.
