40 GG with Elomi and 40 J with Goddess are the same size. As a rule, the Elomi bras are deeper in the cup than the Goddess bras in the same size. This is no exception.
The error in the calculation comes from the fact that the wires of the Goddess Rose (6080) are softer and bend under stress from the band.
Unworn the cup width is 20 cms on the Goddess Rose, but when worn the cup width stretches to 26 cms, wider than the Elomi Cleo (8000). This makes the cup wider and flattens the cup overall. It also accounts for the differences in band length between the two bras. The band on the Goddess is a bit longer unstretched bc the manufacturer did not want too much stress on the band. It is also longer stretched bc the bend wires make it longer.
That said I would like to say that the cut of the two bras is very very similar (it is almost like the same bra), so if one of them fits you chances are 99% that the other will fit you too. Ditto for the Elomi Jasmine.
