likesI'm comparing a Freya Pixie in two sizes, 30D and 30DD.
First of all, there are usual size differences (wider wires, more cup depth), but I noticed some design variations:
- The straps are .2cm wider on the 30DD. That doesn't sound much, but it makes a difference in especially if you're wearing it under a tank top.
- The gore is narrower on the 30DD. The underwire channels meet in the middle, while the 30D has .5cm spacing between the cups (see picture).
- The wings are almost 1cm taller on the 30DD. Also the closure is wider (it has only 2 hooks on both) and the wires are longer, reaching higher in the armpit. All this seems to apply for many (or even all) Freya padded half cups; I noticed the same differences in the Freya Patsy and Ingrid.
