likesBands are pretty much the same. There is a 1 inch difference in depth between cups. There's 1/2 inch difference in width and underwire length. There's a .25 inch difference in wing and gore height. (With the DD being bigger in all of those areas). Interestingly, the gore is slightly wider in the D cup. This is one of few gores that almost doesn't tack for me (in 30D. It's fine in 30DD). They fit me like entirely different bras. There is something very different between the sizes. The 30DD seems much better proportioned for the style of bra. The 30D cups seems very short (I have very short roots and it was too short for me) and there is something almost awkward about it. It's unusual for me to fit in a DD, but this is the exception, so these cups may run a little small, although I think that it's more a matter of the material has a little bit of stretch and could accommodate a larger breast, if the tissue isn't super soft like mine is.
