This bra worked really well for me in sizes up to and including a 32GG and used to be one of my go to bras but it just doesn't work for me in a 32H or 32HH cup (sizing up doesn't work). There must be something subtly different in the cut in the larger cup sizes. My boobs start at my collarbone, I think they are average on the top, firm and bottom heavy with lots of projection. I am gutted that this long time favourite doesn't work for me anymore.

    Used to fit

I have this bra in the Tea Rose fashion colour, which I find to be a very attractive, muted pink. It's very comfortable to wear and less 'stabby' than the balconette equivalent. The wings are made of a very soft material, and the straps are partially lined with something that feels a bit like felt. It looks like a very well-made bra.

I have close-set breasts where the closeness begins further up my chest, and the centre gore doesn't sit on my breast tissue at all - it's quite low, which is obviously because it's designed as a plunge. However, this isn't a ... plunge that gives a lot of cleavage - it leaves skin uncovered without pushing the boobs together too much. It's basically the opposite of 'a lot of bra' without being a Freya Deco, and would be a great option for under a v-neck for someone not wanting to feel too exposed. I also found the bra to run true to size, without feeling too uncomfortable in the band as Panache bras sometimes do when I first buy them. It's supportive as well as comfortable, and I don't feel as though I'm going to fall out of it if I wear it at work.

The reason I don't wear this bra all the time and sing its praises to everyone I meet is because I am very much not a fan at all of the shape it gives me. My boobs look unsupported and pointy - in fact, there's not a lot of difference between how I look when I wear this and how I look without a bra on, except that my boobs aren't pointy when they're braless! I was very sad about this, because seriously - this bra is great in every other way and supportive plunges that don't give too much cleavage are hard to find. I just cringe a bit every time I walk past a mirror, and that's not how a bra should make me feel. I've thought about why this could be and I think it's partially the construction. This is a three-part cup, but the segment attached to the bottom isn't attached to the strap at all, which I think is the reason for the lack of lift. This is also a pretty shallow cup. I think it would have been fine for me a year ago, when I'd only just been fitted correctly and still had a lot of tissue under my armpits (and hence a wider, shallower shape). I also think, due to the rigid top section, that this would be a no-go for anyone with top fullness. The straps are also not fully adjustable, which wasn't a problem for me - but anyone who is petite may have issues. I can't comment on strap width, since I never notice the straps being too wide set on any bras, but I know this is something Panache bras are infamous for.

In conclusion, I feel this would be suitable for someone with a full-on-bottom to (possibly) even shape who is wide and shallow and not particularly petite, short-waisted or narrow-shouldered. It may also be a good option for someone still undergoing tissue migration from the armpits as a result of wearing an incorrect size.

I got this one off eBay. I knew it probably be a bit too small in the cups, because my 32H Tango II Balconnette is. But as H is the largest it comes in and 34 band would be too big, I ordered it anyway. Just to have a go!

The funny thing with this bra is that even though the cups are technically too far apart for me, and the wires are too wide, the bra actually fixes itself. The central gore sort of folds up under the pressure, making the cups shift up towards the center, and, guess what? The wires end up being right on spot.

Too ... bad the 32H is a bit too small in the cups. I'm hoping that this will be corrected if I lose a bit of weight and/or manage to finally stop breastfeeding. But who knows what other issues that will bring.

Anyway, even with the fit issues I can and will wear this bra (until I find something better). The gore is low enough not to show in low cut tops. I love the "everyday cleavage" that isn't too cleavage-y. And the bra's sturdy enough for my daily activities (provided I have the opportunity to arrange myself every now and then). And I love the aubergine colourway.

I'd recommend to try this bra when you're looking for a decent, good quality everyday plunge. If it fits, you'll love it!

Edit. I don't know quite what's going on here. My measurements haven't changed but the fit of my bras has... This one I've had to wear with an extender. Otherwise the band is too tight, the bottom of my breast can't fit in the cups and because of that there's a lot of bulging over the top. My guess is that a 34GG would actually be a good fit. Meanwhile the Tango II balconnette in 32 H fits almost perfectly. I suppose that because the gore collapses on me, the band is strained more. On someone that has wider set breasts, the band would not be so tight.

Edit 2: I've found that I'm not compatible with this plunge shape after all. My boobs are soft, and tend to spill out a bit in the middle.

Underwire is uncomfortable after a few hours - rough fabric. Cups seem small and give a torpedo shape.
