lcl0706 Thanks :-) Marvel is great. It's the perfect bra for summer, it's non-padded, nude and smooth with only few seams. I'm really glad I have it :-)
Didn't fit
Did not fit. Major quadboob. Makes a flattened and pointy shape. Too much of a plunge style cups, but without the lift. Band a bit large.

First of all, The cut of this bra is quite different from the usual Cleo balcony or Freya halfcup style. I like that!
The band is firm (nice surprise in a Freya bra), and the wires are quite wide and slightly stretch with the band.
The Marvel is comfy to wear and gives my wide root shallow boobs a nice rounded and centered shape - not quite as rounded and in-your-face upfront as a "Cleo George" style balcony - but sometimes I like it better this way.
The cups are open on top, but not as open as, say, Ewa Michalak's HM style. I have balanced fulness (neither FoT nor FoB) and it suits me well.
I get slight gaping at the center gore because I don't have a lot of projection there. I don't mind as it's not noticable under clothing and doesn't compromise the shape.
I tried both the glacier (white/mint) and black (with purple sprinkles) colorway and the measurements and fit are virtually identical.

Hasn't set fit
This bra makes me want to apologize to all my past and present Cleo bras for complaining about their garish colors and excessive lace and frills.
This bra has none of that. Just the standard beige t-shirt bra with the expected bows and borders. Nothing wrong with that, I have tons of beige t-shirt bras! Maybe this design feels more old fashioned somehow? Overall it just feels less attractive somehow in its cut and fit. The stock photo model has clevage but i have modesty.
The bra does do its job well. I was surprised the white seam disappeared so well.
I find the shape it gives me to ... be a bit minimized and flattened. The fit is confusing. While I originally thought it was a bit small, measuring it showed it to run large for a 30E - larger than I need. I guess it is a shape issue. I think I need more room at the bottom of the cups.
The band measures large, but it isnt one that has bothered me. The wires are hard and stabby, making me glad the band isn't tighter.

reminds me of one bra I got - it was plain beige but somehow ugly, didnt support me much, and 1just didnt like it. I was able to return it tho.
I have it too and also in the same size and I really like it (my review here: http://bra.pe/XQVs/) I wish Freya make another bra in this cut. It's not super comfortable but I like the shape it gives me and it's also almost invisible under white t-shirts.
Nice! Glad it works for you. I don't find my current unlined nude bra too attactive either, it's just more comfortable. 32D - Wacoal » Body By Wacoal Seamless Underwire (65115).
I guess they aren't meant to be attractive, they're mostly meant to disappear.
i rather loved my ewa michalak nudes, but i keep outgrowing them

It's a beautiful bra, honestly my only problem (aside from some gaping on the center top that i dont mind) is that the gore is a bit wide for me and it itches.

True to band and cup size. The cup separation is slightly too wide for me, but it folds to mostly meet the boob contours so there is only minor gore gaping.
The quality doesn't seem the highest, and the color scheme is weird, but I'd say it mostly fits.

I bought this bra, wore it for five or six months, and bought three more. It's clean and basic, looks smooth under clothes, and is basically perfect for my shape (wide-based and shallow on a muscular, square-shouldered frame). I haven't found it to be minimizing like some people have said - on me it hits just the right balance of lift and projection and makes my boobs look the best they ever have.
The wires did dig into my sternum a little bit until I bent them outward, but I've yet to encounter a bra in my correct size that doesn't do that so it may just be the way I'm built. My only real complaint is that the band seems to stretch out fairly quickly, as I'm already wearing the first one I bought on the tightest hook. Possibly my fault for wearing it three times a week.

This review is for the Glacier colourway.
So, lately I've been reading up on bra alterations (I have plans in mind for a few of my ill-fitting bras) and I got a bit caught up in reading the blog http://brasihate.blogspot.co.uk/ and I happened to notice that most of the bras I own that fit me really well, like the Marcie, Lucy and Andorra, also fit her. The Marvel was one that fitted her that I hadn't tried, so I had to give it a go, and it fits!
Marvel is very much like the Freya padded half-cups in that it's shallow at the bottom of the cups and ... very open at the top, which seems to work quite well for my shape. As far as I can tell, it's not really a new cut for Freya, but as it fits me, I can't be disappointed! The band is a relatively large 30, as I would expect from Freya, but not as loose as the Deco. The Marvel gives a very minimised look (as many reviews have described) but I think for me it's due to the amount of lift it gives rather than because it's squashing my boobs to the sides. I'm actually quite tempted to go out and try a few blouses to see if the Marvel would prevent them from gaping across the front!

This is gorgeous on you & I love your write up of it! I like the fact that Marvel is a simple basic nude, I was on that same hunt recently. I would have gone for it if I had the breast shape it requires :)
