    Fits

First: I altered this bra. I moved the straps in so they were closer together and lifted the cups at a different angle. I also shortened the straps. (None of this irreversible.)

This is one of the most beautiful bras I have ever seen. It is a rich chocolate brown, with sheer cups and a wide satin trip on the tops of the cups, around the bottom of the bra, and on the straps. There are no bows, no beads, no ribbon, no decorations at all. It is just sleek, elegant, and (in my opinion, anyway) super sexy.

Pre-alterations, ... the fit was just no good. The straps were so far apart that they were in my armpits; the cups were gapping like crazy because they were being forced at a weird angle because of the wonky straps; I was in extreme pain within seconds because the elastic on the top of the bra between the strap and the wing seems to be really tight so it was really cutting into my armpit, and I was getting weird quadboob in the middle of the bra from the seams.

Post-alterations, I am very happy with the fit. It's not 100% perfect, but it's close. The wires are still a little wider than I prefer, but they are not stabby, and they don't feel so wide that I'm compromising support or getting and east-west look. The gore also doesn't completely tack, but I think that is just because my boobs are close-set and the wires are soft. The bra is very comfortable, and it has a nice round shape under clothes. It was scary to break out the seam ripper on such a beautiful bra, but definitely worth it!

    Didn't fit

This is a K cup bra from Avocado. The cups are quite deep, with narrow wires. The side wings have boning, which is a feature I really like. The cups have excellent immediate projection. The actual cups are sheer, with lovely satin trim surrounding them. I experienced gaping at the top, and was not able to adjust the straps to resolve it.

    Didn't fit

I really wanted this bra to fit me because it is so beautiful. Unfortunately, it seems that Avocado bras are not meant for me because the straps are too short. I usually have to adjust my straps to the longest or almost longest position. But these straps, adjusted as such, are extremely uncomfortably tight. I had the same problem with the Annick in Love.

The Nina straps were also too wide for me. This also caused the sides of the bra to sit too high into my underarm and also caused gaping at the top sides of the cup. This cut is clearly not for me.

The bra seems well-made and well constructed. The shape that it gave my bust was gorgeous.

Unfortunately, it has to go back. I wish Avocado had worked for me. The bras seem to be well-constructed.
