I tried this bra on in Nordstrom's. It was really comfortable but even after scooping all my breast tissue into it, there was a large gap between the top of my breast and the bra. The saleswoman said that this bra fit me perfectly, and that's how the Deco bra is supposed to fit but I doubt that. There's no way I could wear that bra with such an obvious gap!

I think the new season Deco colours are stunning. For some reason I seem to accidentally accumulate pink bras. I don't hate pink, but it's not exactly my favourite colour (hmm, come to think of it I have literally NO pink items in my wardrobe that aren't underwear). It just so happens that the last couple of bras that seem to fit me well happen to be pink (Cleo Maddie and Freya Ashlee half cup - both fairly similar candy sweet shades). Whilst the 30E Maddie is fairly new and still fits well, I've outgrown my 30DD Ashlee and am into unfortunate quad-boob territory.
So when I saw ... the new Topaz Deco Honey and the Cobalt Deco (both about a million miles away from the candyfloss pink of my current go-to bra) I was super excited! It was lust at first sight.
So, my relationship with Deco - I have a Taylor which fits fairly well, and a Firecracker Honey which I got form another Bratabase user and is too small. I know the Deco range are said to have narrow wires and are better for FOT, projected shapes, the COMPLETE POLAR OPPOSITE to my shallow wide boosoombas. I was just about coming to the realisation (enter Maddie) that although I wanted the Deco to work, maybe it just never would be quite right....and having to look for other T-shirt bras became my quest.
However, my local House of Fraser actually (shock horror!) had both these new Deco designs in MY SIZE!! (30E) So I figured I would try them, just to remind myself of what I already new - fit ok, but not great - wires too narrow, cups too deep.
BUT - ooh something has changed! Both the topaz and cobalt now have a seamed edge to the cups. It's slightly raised (which I thought may defeat the whole object of a smooth bra, d'oh!) and gives the cups a neat, finished look, which aesthetically I think I prefer to the Decos/Deco Honeys pre-this season. I've heard that the Flamingo also had this.
So... I think it has really improved the fit. Less gaping that before, slightly more contoured to the boob....even, surely not, a less tall (shorter?! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":-D" />) cup - all the things it's known for, and all the things that don't work for me. Maybe even (gasp!) wider wires?!
Hmm maybe this is just me getting all excited and carried away...but overall, for me the fit is pretty excellent now.
Deco Honey has retained a lot of the things I previously liked - firm, thick-ish band, thick fully adjustable straps, simple classic design but with gorgeous twists (ooh the buttons, eek the lace! etc). The colour is great as a light coloured alternative to white/nude bras. Wore it for the first time today and it may take a few wears to adjust the straps to the perfect length, I noticed there is still some gaping when I sit in odd positions or move around a lot, and the raised trim is probably a touch more visible that before, but I think the change is definitely a positive one for me. I will review the Deco Cobalt once I've worn it, but it seems nigh on identical to this one in terms of shape and measurements. Woop indeed.

I absolutely love this bra! My breasts are asymmetrical, so the cup gapes a little on my smaller breast and is slightly too small on my larger breast. However it looks great under a shirt!

I also like that this bra gives me a nice amount of cleavage without push-up padding. It causes my breasts to be positioned more front & center on my torso, which I feel like is a more flattering silhouette. It is comfortable and supportive.

I love the strap width and the fact that they are fully adjustable.

My ribcage is 29" and even though the 30E seems to be a decent enough fit, I would be interested in trying on a 28F. I think I would prefer the band to be a little snugger.

I tried the regular Freya Deco in 30E, and it didn't fit. There was tons of gaping and I think the cups were too tall. This seems to fit though! I read on one blog that the original Deco and the Honey are basically the same fit, but that doesn't seem to be true for me... Anyone know what's going on?

The cups seem slightly shorter. I don't gape as much. I don't feel my boobs escaping with every move I make.

My only complaint is that the material at the top of the cup is really thick, so that the line shows under t-shirts sometimes. There's no gaping causing this though. It's because the padding is so thick that it just stands out the tiniest bit.

I get the same issues with this bra as with the regular deco plunge, it gapes at the top if i move around and i constantly need to readjust the bra.

This bra is a fair example of why I've been looking for unlined bras in my new size lol. It makes them look enormous.
The fit and style of the bra though, spot on.
There's a bit of quadding when I scoop and swoop, but not really noticeable. If I try this bra again I'll consider getting the 30F.
I did notice in the measurements that a lot of Decos in 30E appear more like 30DD, or are at least somewhat smaller in the cups.

Otherwise, the band is a lot more snug than my Hopscotch Longline, which I really like. The shape works very well for me and the wires don't ... appear "too wide" like I've experienced with many of my other new bras.
Fabric is very nice and soft, and I'd say about as much padding as a VS Body model, but a bit firmer.

So again, Freya has impressed me with not adding too much padding.
Shape is very rounded like most other moulded bras.
I really enjoy the bows on the straps also. This bra didn't look nearly as pretty in pictures as it is in person. It's very dainty, IMO.
I found one in an aqua color and it's sooo pretty.
Also gives some killer cleavage if you're into that.

Anyway, almost a perfect fit, you might want to go up a cup if you need more projection.
I usually can't work with such a rounded shape at the top of the cup, but I actually think that is what makes this bra fit. I looked at measurements and noticed that this measures similarly to my 32D's in the cup!
I'll edit this if and when I find a 30F, because I'm pretty sure I'd do a little better with that.
For now the 30E doesn't make me quad to such an extent that I mind and it's not really noticeable even in a tighter top.
Probably size up unless you're somewhat shallow. Either way, I think this is probably good for average to narrow roots.

Edit:
I realized that one of my problems with this bra is shape. The cups are too separated. If they were just somewhat closer it would be a perfect fit. I realized this when I noticed that the top corners of the cups were slightly unfilled, but I was quadding in the center of the bra. Definitely the shape that's wrong for me, probably not the size.
I think this bra is good for mildly separate boobs, average roots, FoT to even shapes, and somewhat projected.

This is the "topaz" colourway.

I have 2 other Deco Honeys that fit me in 28F. bought this bra from a sale and had to sister size. I´m planning to shorten the band because it is too big for me. It fits now when I use the tightest hooks.

The cups are a little problematic. I have the same thing going on than in my other Decos. The cups cut in in the center / top when I S&S. After a while the cutting in disappears completely in my other 28F Decos (firecracker and iris). In the topaz one some quadboob remains. There is one detail that is different in the topaz version, compared to my other versions, there is a sewed line in the top of the cups. Maybe this is to prevent the cups from bending / curving outwards? I think this might also be the reason why there´s more cutting in.

This bra is quite comfortable. I bought it as my first bra after finding out my true size, and I was overall pleased with how well it fit. The straps are a nice sturdy width and didn't fall down, and I was able to adjust them to a comfortable length. I don't have any issues with the gore digging in to my sternum or with the underwires poking into my sides. When I scooped 'n swooped my boobs into the cups, they fit the cups nicely, but if I don't, and I slouch or don't stand/sit up straight, there will be a gap between the top of the ... cup and my breasts. After wearing it a few times, I wash it on delicate setting in my washing machine and lay it out to air dry. I notice there are a few tiny threads coming from the gore where there are two decorative buttons, but everything else, the cups, straps, and hook & eye closures are holding up fine. I put it on the first column of hooks, and every time I think I should move it up a column, but the bra fits fine on the first column still. I don't wear the bra every day, so it hasn't gotten extensive use, but I would say the band's elasticity is fairly good.
