This style allows a greater deal of movement in the cup due to the outer lace having stretch lace, with the give running vertically.
While there is far more immediate depth than available in my slightly smaller S cuts, it feels like this comes at cost of a proportionate cup that would allow any projection at all. Just fabulous immediate depth and then THE WALL. I wouldn't call the S the most deep thing on earth but for short + full it's been a really good style up till this stretch-lace overlay specific version.
It's been way too hot to wear this much yet, but swapped wires for plunge ones that match my IMF, keeps the projection low and focused forward rather than veering upwards and pushing back in.
